When visiting my wife's family every summer we have had dinner here many times over the years and have never had a bad experience. Because we visit in the sumer, we have never eaten inside and so have always dined at an outdoor table. While some might find it pricey by Russian standards, the service is always exceptional and the food is always excellent. The setting is a delight, on the bluff overlooking the Bay of Taganrog, and so the view, and thus the atmosphere, is wonderful.If I could offer something by way of a suggestion, some of the main courses could have more than one entry on the menu--unless the food items are delivered ready to be cooked as they arrive. While the breast of chicken is served as similar to Chicken Cordon Bleu wrapped in bacon but without a cheese filling, the breasts of chicken could be breaded and served with or without melted cheese on top.One and only one negative that I can think of is to suggest not to walk very close to the back hedges because that can cause a huge number of flying insects to come up and make things difficult. The restaurant might consider spraying the "bugs" and doing so regularly.

It is a very cozy and pleasant place, I wouldn't miss it if I'm Taganrog again. Friendly staff, marvelous atmosphere, music and interiors. It is not large at all, so it adds up to the nice "homy" experience. The don't cook all the food as great as they can, but the things I had are delicious - a pepper steak with mashed potatoes and coffee.

Happened to stumble across this restaurant, café whilst staying at the Hotel Centralya on Petrovskoe Street. Had lunch the first time with superb fish and chips, Russian style which were small kind of red mullets resembling sardines and saute potatoes, delicious, nice white wine to accompany this and prices you would not believe, equivalent to £8 including tip and three glasses of wine.I went again and had a late breakfast of omelette - superb with wine of course

The hotel is designed as a cosy kitchen with cupboards and kitchet-style tables. Very relaxing atmosphere. The dishes were all very tasty. Salads in great variety with long and fascinating names (the ingredients are listed in the menu, so you can't be mislead by the name). The servings are lavish. Peaple seem to come here during the day for a family lunch. My five-year-old granddaughter was not bored because the waitress brought her a pile of colour pencils and a sketch album, so my kid was busy and happy.The only minus is that it is a tiny place of about 8-10 tables, you have to book. And there is no privacy but it seems to be their feature rather than a drawback.
