Nicest hotel in town
Reviewed By mmalloylawThis hotel was head and shoulders above the competition. The location was convenient to restaurants and shopping, even the aerial tram was close by. The concierge while I was there, Juan Camillo, was an extraordinary hello day after day. I was there at a very busy time — Semana Sancta — and he was still able to obtain a driver and guide for a last minute excursion. Also loved the daily included breakfast buffet with lots of choices. Woukd definitely return.

The location is a bit remote from the city, but for those who kinda want to get away from the business of the city, this location is perfect! The hotel provided us rides to and back from the city of Pereira, there is small town nearby if you just want to have drinks and a meal, prices are cheap and the food is good. The location and the scenery is divine, I didn't even sleep on my bed rather I slept on a Hammock waking up with a breathtaking view with a serene sound of nature. The food there is really good and the presentation is just perfect! Although ordering the food might take awhile, sometimes even getting their attention. They offer tours, although it can be a bit pricey but fair, but I really enjoyed the guide that took us around! I would definitely come back here a million times.

Reviewed By andregmeraWe came for a relaxed vacation and mission accomplish, super comfy villas with an amazing view of the landscape. Kids have many options of pools, jacuzzis. The spa experience is truly relaxing and makes you feel renewed. Very well located with amazing views of the coffee land scenery, also super close to Ukumari Zoo which is a big plus. I would suggest to have those small coffee makers in the villas, so you enjoy the view with a the taste of a Colombian coffee.

Reviewed By P291GEdanmThe Front desk refused a government issued ID from a friend of mine and we were not allowed to stay and there was no manager present. We were told we could get a refund for the trip from hotels.com, when I requested the refund, hotels.com said the hotel refused our refund request. So they lied to us, stole our money, and rejected our stay. Definitely go somewhere else. We ended up staying at Movich and it was wonderful. UPDATE: after posting this review to Google, the hotel asked me to e-mail them. i e-mailed the hotel, they told me I had to call. I called, after being on hold for two hours TWICE, I was hung up on both times. I was forced to file for fraud with my bank.

Pools and rooms are nice, service is bad.
Reviewed By lnh18We booked 2 rooms in April 2022. The larger one was very beautiful, and the other was also nice but simpler, in accordance with the price. We were not unhappy with the rooms, but this is not a good place to come if you are a light sleeper. The hotel can be very noisy as the pools close late and open early, and there is a loud river that can be heard from the rooms (think of a loud air-conditioning sound). The hotel itself is lovely and very idyllic, and the pools are gorgeous. The real letdown for us was the service. In general, it was slow and lacking. Check-in and check out took a long time. We had to wait a while to receive clean towels. The restaurant service was pretty bad, as was the food. I wouldn't recommend eating there if you have a car and are able to travel to a restaurant nearby. I also wish the hotel provided robes and shoes to go from pool to pool. The pools made the stay worth it for us, but now that we've experienced them, I probably wouldn't stay again.

We are a small boutique hotel, charming, quiet, comfortable, personalized attention. 8 rooms, each one with private bathroom. Set amid the Coffee Cultural Landscape, overlooking the mountains and the green coffee plantations and bamboo forests . In our plantation we perform the Coffee Tour as a way to experience the traditional coffee process, promoting the culture of the region and include references to its myths and legends. We also talk about the flora and fauna found along the path.This tour takes about 3 hours and has a length of 1.3 km (requires comfortable clothes and shoes). Special coffee tasting. We offer transport service, restaurant and a free Coffe Bar. On full moon nights we have storytelling, trova and music around a campfire amid the coffee plantation.

We were greeted by Nelly and her dog Mockachino who make you feel so welcome ? the hotel is is very clean and so so beautiful and the perfect place if you want to get away and relax. We did a tour through Finca Del Cafe with our driver Gustavo and tour guide Mauricio who did such an amazing job showing us Cocora Valley, Salento & Filandia. They were both so kind and really knowledgeable teaching us all about nature, Colombian history, and pretty much any questions they asked us. We are in Colombia for 3 weeks and so far spending the day with them has been the highlight of our trip. Cocora valley is a must see in Colombia especially with Mauricio who very throughly explained to us everything that we saw. He even took us to a local restaurant to eat local food! All in all I would definitely recommend staying here! There arent enough nice things to say about the hotel, the staff (who really took their time speaking Spanish to us when we aren’t that good) and made us a delicious breakfast every morning. It will be an experience you will love and never forget. Thank you to everyone here that made this a wonderful part of our honeymoon! Stephanie and Alec

Reviewed By freeebFront door lock did not work . Huge concrete pillar in the middle of the room. Shampoo dispenser in the bath room did not work . Very cheap quality Shampoo, soap etc etc DARK common areas at night . I could not see my lock on the front door .

Week-long stay for family visit
Reviewed By Jim MBooked Junior suite at this hotel, as part of Expedia flight/hotel package. was on first floor, had really big bed, but lounge (separated by door) had much more space than bedroom, even though it also contained sink/hob/cupboards. Bathroom only had shower, as was far too small for a bath. wc was too close to end wall. Hotel is on a one-way street, and is on thoroughfare for the megabus route, and as windows.are only single glazed the noise level is quite a disturbance factor. Across from the hotel is a first floor gymnasium (so level with our room), and in the warm weather (just about every day), the large windows are open, so there's no escape from the continuous music all day until well into the evening. Although if you're an admirer of decent bodies you won't be disappointed! Hotel is conveniently located just off one of most popular squares. Don't bother with breakfast (on the fourth floor, open-sided with views over local hills or city roof tops) which isn't all that appetising, unless you speak Spanish, as none of staff speak English. Head out to a local coffee shop instead, get far better coffee, at approx £1 cup. The place is clean, reception area is very pleasant, but no English spoken. Has wifi, so was able to use google translator to help staff understand.
