Reviewed By 155paulawLovely hotel. It has a pleasant garden and a nice swimming pool. Our room, 105, was large and well equipped. The best place we have stayed in Colombia. The aircon is efficient. WiFi was satisfactory. The breakfast and lunches were good. The staff were friendly and helpful., especially as my husband was ill and needed a bit of extra looking after. We would definitely come back here again.

Reviewed By PeterAndNataliaStayed 1 night after a 3 day tour to Punta Gallinas. Clean hotel with very average ammentities. No window in the room (none have outside windows). No hot water and broken shower head. Shower floor sloped away from drain so water went onto the bathroom floor. Breakfast was below average - tiny bit of scrambled eggs and a dry piece of toast. Really? WiFi worked, but slow. Location is good - only 5 minutes walk to restaurants on the coast. Would not stay again. Better options in the area.

Reviewed By Lbui_1990This is a hard one to review, cause I want to be mindful of the progress of the actual city and not just compare experiences. I think the biggest issue I had with this hotel is that they are focusing so much on new stuff without making what they have great. The room felt like a prison and it is actually next door to a prison! The pool was dirty, the room had missing drywall and broken tiles and just a general stain to the walls and furniture. The WiFi is only available in the lobby. The food was difficult to consume. The good thing about this hotel is it’s walkable to the main areas! The staff is super nice. And there are many options for snacks, drinks, breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Reviewed By jurnick mWe went to La Guajira for a few days for some cultural business and also enjoy the festival "francisco el hombre", we also showcased what we can offer, so we had allot of prepping to do. The staff was amazing, helping us getting our luggages & tools up the stairs, but what amazed me more than anything was the kitchen staff, they welcomed us and allowed us to use their kitchen to do our prepping, and most importantly they helped us with the prepping, they were very friendly, very open to learn and very open to teach us what they know. I loved everyday i was there, and enjoyed every second with the kitchen staff. 5 stars for me, for the wonderful experience!

Nice Hostel and Location, but Problems - Would Not Stay Again
Reviewed By PeterAndNataliaWe reserved a room with private bathroom at this hostel based on the good reviews. However it didn't live up to to those reviews. Room #4 is in a different building (down the street) from the office so you will dragging your luggage down the street. And breakfast is served a at a 3rd location - their sister hostel which looked much better to us. Our room (4) overlooked the street and the common balcony, so there's a lot of street noise and other guests using the balcony right outside your window. There's no hot water and the shower drain was very slow. The rooms in this building are also up a narrow spiral staircase - not easy to use. Overall, a good location (2 blocks from the coast and many restaurants) but there are better properties in Riohacha.

Reviewed By ninocatalinaIt was one of the best hostels I've stayed in Colombia. Neat and quiet you may say, though the situation in the country was not the best. Good service at the front desk, the girls had a good sense of urgency when we needed them. The girl at the bar made some pretty good cocktails.

A wonderful hotel to stay in Riohacha
Reviewed By FrenchTraveller001Rooms with a balcony facing the sea have a wonderful view and are very comfortable. The bathroom was perfect with strong water pressure in the shower. Beds were very comfortable. There is a fantastic parking area. The rooftop terrace is fabulous. Food was outstanding and service was perfect. Breakfast was sadly a bit basic.

Need some help about La Guajira desert and other trips??? let us help you. We are a two month age hotel right at the city center, just 50 meters from the beach. We offer a quiet and relaxing atmosphere at the whole place, so you can rest well before and after work meetings or the tourist tours to Cabo de la vela and Punta Gallinas, we are located in the best city area.

Reviewed By 188rupertlPlus points: cheap, good pool, spacious and clean rooms, bar, Netflix, good aircon. Minus points: no hot water (how do you build a brand new hotel and don’t plumb in hot water....??!!), awful breakfast (seek elsewhere - small portion of greasy eggs with white sliced or arepa) and only one key per room so a big hassle if one of a pair has to do something different from the other. 3.5 out of 5. And please don’t make me wear a wristband like I’m at Disney world. Colombia - please remember fruit!!!
