This hotel has a goodBecause I remember that near the hotel there were many restaurants and many souvenir shops. My classmates and I arrived at this hotel in the evening. I shared my room with my best friend Deysi. The room was very clean and very comfortable. The bathroom was very big. This hotel has hot water and of course wifi. The room where I stayed had a view of the beautiful Chimborazo. The front desk receptionist was very friendly. The dinner was delicious, I was very satisfied. In the evening I got bored a bit because our room had a big TV but the channels did not work. Anyway it did not care much because we had internet. The night was quiet and we could sleep very well. One of the things I liked about this hotel was breakfast in the morning. The breakfast was a very difficult choice because there was a great variety of foods such as: fruit, milk, coffee, bread, ham and cheese for sándwiches, cereal,juice, I do not remember more but I do remember that I ate a lot. I think this hotel is very good for couples and families because it is very homely. This hotel has a garage and a gym is perfect for staying three or four days. I could not stay long, so I could not go to the gym and I did not know much the city of Riobamba. If I were to travel again to the city of Riobamba I would stay at this hotel becaude the food and the attention of all was definitely the best. Thank you hotel "El Molino" for the good service, the food and the attention.

Reviewed By labmark .Excellent service, Clean rooms, helpful staff, awesome breakfast. Quiet location...Good size rooms. Will definitely return when in town.... It has a nice small diner attached with great options to eat. They even make their own coffee and chocolate.

Terrible customer service
Reviewed By Tim KWoke up this morning at 6 AM to a man pounding on our door. He demanded I pay for the room. I was a bit in shock. I asked him what the problem was and that I could pay when I leave but he said he needed it then. Unbelievable. I went down to pay and gave the man $40 and he gave me a $1.50 back. When I got back to my room I realized I should have gotten back $6.50 as the room was $30 plus a 12% tax of $3.60. Went back down and a lady was there instead and when I explained to her there was a mistake in the change, she wouldn't honor it. I complained about waking me up at 6 when 8 or 9am would have been a more reasonable time. It's not like I wasn't going to pay. Usually you pay at the beginning when you check in or at the end when you check out. Since they didn't ask for anything when I checked in I figured I would pay when I left. No apologies. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere. There are lots of hotels/hostels/Airbnb's in riobamba with more honest and good people.

Reviewed By carroll-a-00Excellent hot showers, tidy rooms and a good breakfast, would recommend. Good linen and soap for showers. Friendly staff. Good wifi and televisions. Near a superb bakery (ask owner). You can see the once a week train come past and buy lovely sugarcane juice from a stall outside. By a UK World Challenge team.

Reviewed By F6885QYdianewWe recently stayed here and were disappointed. Initially, the room toilet did not work. Hot water took forever to manifest itself in the shower . Breakfast was minimal. Barking dogs - 5-6 dogs constantly barking for an hour and a half were annoying. No one was at the front desk to place a complaint. The hotel was a ghost town- very few people were there.

Reviewed By Gene SRoom was reasonably clean and it is located near the bus station and within walking distance to city centre, restaurants and points of interest. Staff don’t interact with guest well. Toilet struggled to flush and the hotel is noisy, you hear everything from the street and from within the hotel. Tv in the room didn’t work and the kitchen is not very good, lack of utensils. There’s a notice on the room door that says no alcohol in the room. I’d look elsewhere next time.

Reviewed By japyxCold shower and beacuse of the eggs of the breakfast I've spent uno and a half days on the toilet. People were so-so friendly and room was good, but apart from that I wish I've never been there. I DON'T recommend this place at all!

Reviewed By mgribenskIt was fine for one night. People were very nice, but we didn’t realize it is located in the historic center (downtown) and there was a lot of cars all night which made it difficult to rest. The building is a renovated home in the downtown so it’s nice.
