Restaurant Schiff has become one of our favorite restaurants around Lake Zurich for a number of reasons: great terrasse space, Sonja and her team are doing outstanding work to make patrons feel welcome, delicious food options and a solid variety of wines make this a great spot for lunch or dinner anytime. My personal favorite are the perch filets in brown butter, if the perch are from Lake Zurich and not imported. Wine recommendation is the Fläscher Sauvignon Blanc - goes well with it.

closer to schindellegi than to wollerau, they have a wide menu with apetizers, salds, soups, meat, shrinps, pasta and pizza. their pizza "fabio" has a good truffle taste and smell for 23 sfr. honest home italian food at an average all included of 50 sfr per person

Dinner with a friend and his wife, who live in the area. Definitely a local spot with no pretensions. Sit outside in the Terrace area and watch the trains go by. Friendly service. We had the tartare and an order of chanterelles to start. I have had tartare in many parts of the world and this was one of the best. Fresh, nicely spiced and extremely tasty. The "Fitteller" salad plates are well worth it - a combination of different salads with a schnitzel along side. To offset the ehalthy aspect get the fries as well. Great food, cold beer, outdoors at Zurichsee - what else could you want. If in the area on business this is a local spot that is worth the visit.

The beer is really good, the atmosphere excellent and the food is good. The prices are fair. It is a nice place to go as well as in winter as in summer. Waiters are fast and friendly. We visit once in a while this place because it's good.

Eder's Eichmühle has the perfect location in the countryside a bit off Wädenswil. Their garden is wild and still very well maintained.
We went for the menu and were happy about the food. The first course was very nicely presented and tasted amazing (sashimi, prawn). The second dish was tempura fried Dover sole on a cucumber carpaccio - simple and nothing really exciting.
The main dish, Swiss lamb from the alps, was too heavy for me - a huge portion of meat!
The Cuban chocolate dessert on an apricot sauce was to die for!

High quality products, skill, knowledge, diligence – the result was flawless. We enjoyed the 5 course Freshwater and sea fish menu with some special wishes and variations which were accepted without hesitation. The wine list is on an adeaquate level.
Even if the proprietress might be a bit higher and friendlier: highly recommendable.

I have been here with my family on a number of occasions. The service is always very personal and friendly. The food has been excellent every time we went (I usually order the Wienerschnitzel). They cater to our two young boys (3 and 5). The wine list is decent and includes some tasty local wines. I recommend making a reservation on the weekends as it usually is full. We will be back

We wanted to try local food and we went to this place with my family. We were delighted by the food and service. Staff very friendly and the menu has lots of options. The taste of the food was just delicious from the appetizer to the desserts. Good restaurant.

Ithis restaurant is also a hotel, where i spent an awfull night four years ago, so i had not tried the restaurant.
As time has ekaped, i gave the chance. My mistake! Pasta was not good, lake fish was bad, even the latte macchiatto was poor. The service was fae below swiss standards.
Their terrasse is nice in sunny days.
I will not returm.
