Before they came along, there was only Pho Zen to get a decent bowl of Pho.Everything there is delicious, from the Pho soups, the shrimp spring rolls, the rice dishes. One of our favorites is the 3 different kinds of beef rolls wrapped in herbs that you eat with vermicelli, lettuce and rice wraps. Their durian shakes are excellent.The Banh Mi sandwich is only so-so. There are better options elsewhere.Overall, for conventional soups but more special dishes, this place is excellent.

With many immigrants from HK settling in Canada during the return of the former UK colony to the motherland, I had high expectations of great dim sum in MontrealBut then I remembered, most of the immigrants targeted the more anglophile cities of Toronto and VancouverNevertheless, enough settled in Quebec to make this place worth the visitWe were brought here by a work colleague who lives nearby and frequents the place oftenMost places in the world, dim sum starts at midday....but here, you got to get here when doors open at 10:30am because, as large as the restaurant actually is, the place is packed and the queue to get in is like that found at theme park roller coastersThe moment you step in, itâs like being in Hong Kong (but on the ground floor)...youâll understand if youâve been thereAnyways, the noise is what immediately hits you - itâs as it should beA deafening cacophony of gathering diners topped off with the tannoy announcements of the next available table denoted by your lucky raffle ticketBecause when your number is called, it feels like youâve won the equivalent to the Golden Ticket for Willy Wonkaâs chocolate factoryWhen you get seated, you simply wait for the food to be brought to youYou pray that you get a table in prime traffic section so that you never miss one of the multiple dim sum trolley dollies who wheel their culinary wares as they zig zag amongst the labyrinth of tablesThe wide variety they had on offer was applaudableThey had everything I wouldâve and wanted to order as well as dishes I either hadnât seen anywhere else in decades or at allMy only criticism is the overpowering use of MSG in the food and how some of the key dishes arenât kept sufficiently warm enough before servingAs my dad used to say, âeat this one now as itâs only nice when hotâWould I come back if I had the chance....yeah, more than likely

Beautiful comfortable decor and atmosphere. Delicious food served promptly and politely. Ordered the seafood soup that was spicy and fresh. General Tao chicken, tofu, beef and broccoli, coconut curry chicken all extremely well presented, fresh and tasty. Ended sharing a fried banana desert to die for.

Simple decor, fresh food and good quality at a fair price. The DEGUSTATION MENU takes you to a universe of flavours that you would have never suspected in this neighbourhood restaurant. The chef is creative so each visit to this place guarantees pleasant surprises. Book a table early, this place fills up quickly on the week ends. Bring your wine and enjoy.

A very pleasant surprise. I was greeted by the owner a very sweet lady, who was cheerful and very gracious. I had their lunch special$10, a delicious vietnamese soup, spring roll and a bahn mi sandwich. Great little find worth the detour.We're very happy you like our restaurant! Here for lunch. Went for the shrimp tempura appetizer, which came as a fair size serving with shrimps and veggies in a somewhat oilier than usual panko batter. Then had the Saizen combo plate of nigiri, sashimi and maki, a nice, fresh assortment. I also noticed on the menu that a number of items had kimchi in them, but that kimchi by itself was not offered. As I love kimchi, I asked if a side dish of kimchi could be had, and sure enough I was served a small bowl of it. Much appreciated! Service was efficient and friendly, prices average for this type of restaurant.

This unassuming little restaurant in Saint-Lambert is a hidden gem. From the fresh sushi, sashimi as well as the Teriyaki dishes, the taste and presentation is excellent. The dishes are tasty without being salty or overly seasoned. The seafood, fish and even vegetables were fresh and the filet mignon was tender and tasty. The service was warm, courteous and friendly. Prices are moderately high but well worth the experience. The only reason I didn't rate this establishment a five star is (as mentioned in other reviews) the shabby state of the restrooms. They really need to do something about this.

This is one of our quick go to places for Viet-Thai food . The menu is perfect for a reasonable price. We usually order the combo of beef, chicken an shrimp that comes with a soup and spring roll for about $15.00. There is a table d'hôte as well as a la carte choices.Quick and friendly service. BYOB

Very large and loud place. Food poor quality for price. Tom yum not an actual Tom Yum south East Asian soup at all. More of a salty broth with little taste. Pad Thai not worth having (in a Thai restaurant!).Typical tacky-ish place that fits right in to the Dix30 south shore style if thatâs what youâre looking for.Service very quick and waiters/ waitresses kind.Thank you for your comment Anne-Marie. I ordered a suchi to go, for us it was just ok. It was very bad service from the waitresses (owners?), they look very, very stressful, they spoke with us & a same time did something. We had an impression that they are not interested of us because we ordered just suchi.
