Recommended by local people, we decided to try it, and keep coming back for excellent food!!! Being addicted to fish and shellfish, we discovered this place always offers it fresh and nicely cooked! My recommendations: a starter of "antipasto caldo" (mixed seafood: mussels, clams, shrimps, even razor clams!), followed by a plate of grilled scampi (best ever tried!!! Juicy and fresh), and baked "Rombo" (turbot) with potatoes (ooooohhhh, it's just cooked to perfection!!! Tasty as hell!). And if after all that you can even think of a desert - take their "sorbetto" of lemon or clementine! The restaurant is quite big, has 2 halls, so you an always find a space even without reserving it (although we always like to be awaited for)... And... In addition to hospitable, full-of-jokes Italian service, the restaurant takes AmEx! ;) Enjoy, Signori!

Good food well cooked ,very nice décor ,pleasant staff who made an effort to understand English. The wine was very nice, Not just a pizzeria this establishment also does a wide selection of local dishes and a good desert selection, It also has outside seating in a small square for when the weather is fine.

Had lunch here with several famy members on a weekday. Nice dining room in the back. When we arrived room was pretty hot though ac was on. Service pretty slow and a limited wine selection. Half of the dishes we had were really good with the others falling a little flat. In particular seafood pastas along with the anchovies were the stand outs. Overall somewhere between 3 and 4 stars. .

Pizzeria with a large list of pasta, fish and meat dishes. Very good service and location with outdoor seating during the summer months. Good quality, moderate prices.

We've always been attracted to the smaller family-owned restaurants in Chicago. Trattoria al Cavallino was a rare treat off the busy streets. This place served northern italian spaghetti sauce that my mother wished she'd made. It's not easy to find, nor is the seating spacious. The spaghetti and the margarita pizza, however, was worth the trip. We found it quite by accident while we were looking for where my parents lived on Via Bottego. Of course one can never go wrong with friulian white wines.

Sono stato per diverso tempo loro cliente come asporto. Ma da quando hanno ritoccato i prezzi e non contenti messo un supplemento di un euro per il fuori paese mi sono visto recapitare le solite due pizze a quasi 20 euro ho optato per andare direttamente in pizzeria aggiungo pochi euri e ho anche il bere. Mi spiace perché la pizza è molto buona, ma ci sono altrettanti buone e più economiche

There are not many eateries open in Udine or surroundings on Monday, but Arcadia is one of them (it's closed on Wednesdays). Upon entering, the restaurant looks like fairly matter-of-fact family restaurant - which it is, but when you taste the food, you'll probably agree with me that it was worth the 10km-or-so trip outside Udine's center to the northeast. The rations are generous, and you may go for a full-size meal or just a pizza (which isn't small, either)

Friendly staff, nice garden. We enjoyed pizza and pastas; there were some nice local beers. Prices were really affordable.Great place for families with children - there's a lot of space in the garden and a fountain, so the kids aren't bored while waiting for meal.
