We had chicken and steak (Fiorentina). It was large potions, but the meat did not have a lot of taste. The service was ok, but they didn't go for the tips. The surroundings were very nice

I've been here with a few friends and we did had some risottos as starter and as main dish most of us ordered a Fiorentina (T-bone steak of 800g/900g).Risotto was great, perfectly cooked and delicious. The Fiorentina also was delicious and perfectly cooked.The peculiarity of this place is that they do have the grill in the middle of the room where they do cook in front of you.Service, on the other side, isn't perfect. We asked for another wine and we received another plate, they also wanted to take out plates before we even finish.If you're planning to come here consider 50/60⬠each if you're going to eat a nice steak.

Dunque ho avuto modo di provare questo ristorante questo sabato.Da subito buona impressione, il titolare ci ha accolto con vigorosa stretta di mano.L' ambiente é piuttosto essenziale, tavoli ben spaziati, nella sala la splendida griglia a vista è davvero un valore aggiunto.Passiamo ai piatti:Antipasto misto, tagliolini al San Daniele davvero ottimi, perfetto equilibrio di sapori. Arrosticini e sovracoscia di pollo cotti alla perfezione.Come dolce... Beh piccola scivolata sul sorbetto, ma pazienza.Tornerò sicuramente per provare le costate.Bravi.

Mi sono recato in questo ristorante per sfruttare un coupon per una cena di carne per 2 persone e mi sono trovato benissimo. Il locale è diviso in due parti, la prima che fa da bar e la seconda che ospita i pochi coperti per il ristorante, opportunamente divise da una porta scorrevole: non è bellissimo ma è accogliente, e il personale giovane ci ha fatto sentire a nostro agio. Carne ottima e cotta alla perfezione, eccellenti gli antipasti, specialmente la polenta rivisitata, buoni anche i dolci. Da consigliare senza riserve.

This a great place where you can eat excellent fish that is really fresh! you can see those fishes swimming underneath you when you sit in the "garden"!what we liked:- great house wine- they have also vines from the near agroturismo's - fish is fresh :) - and served in a very nice way- good variety of cheese that you can take for the starter- great deserts - all is served in a very nice way- service is polite- we will come back again and we recommend this placeconsiderations:We had a chance to be there few times; first time we visited it was very busy and we were lucky to get a table, not sure if you can make a booking but could be useful there is not much place to park a carthey speak English communicative and I guess not all ( but Italian would be useful) like anywhere in Italy they are not in a hurry, you get a fresh meal and when restaurant is full you got to be patient I think that prices are quite low for the quality you get - I am not saying that prices should be higher as location of this place is not in heart of tourist place but it's a great place

Been there for out of the ordinary dinner. The place is big (as to local standards). Was full that night. Found just one table. Had a very good grilled steak with potatoes and sauce. Very good beer. Fast and professional service. Reasonably priced. Would come again.

Of all our travels throughout northern Italy nothing compares to this meal or this restaurant. Mushrooms were at the peak of their season and they knew exactly what to do with them. The antipasto course delivered a beautiful array of dishes including freshly harvested porcini mushrooms, a platter of prosciutto with a complexity of flavors ~ salty, tangy and sweet. The primo course delivered homemade pasta, a rarity in the US! With secondo came the most tender slices of sirloin grilled to perfection seasoned just right over a wood fired grill. I had never tasted something so sublime, so tender it practically melted in mouth. My dessert favorite was the chantilly cream with fresh seasonal fruit but others at the table enjoyed the creme brûlée, white chocolate mousse, and chocolate cake. Espresso is a must!! The family who operate the restaurant are the most gracious, knowledgable, and amazing hosts and truly epitomize the best of northern Italian culture, taste, and style. I wish I had more photos to share but the meal was so enjoyable I didn't want to be distracted. Can't wait to return!

"Frasca" means twig, and when the Friulan farmers wished to sell some of their produce, they hung a "frasca" out at the entrance (like we, Dutch, would wave a flag). Being true visitors of the nearby Villa Corèn (which serves as our annual winter retreat), my wife and I were very pleased that the hamlet of Siacco (near Povoletto) was enriched with a new restaurant that hung out it's frasca to lure us inside. And a good one. The menu is clearly oriented towards meat - the Italians have a rich tradition here. In fact, the offerings at Alla Frasca are able to compete with those of a good American steakhouse, and their use of local herbs and vegetables make it quite a different experience, though. It's also possible to order a vegetarian meal, but you should make sure with the cook then that he extends his choice of vegetables beyond the various types of radiccio that are abundant in this region. The wine list is simple but sufficient, mainly depending on the "Zorzettig" winemaker; Alla Frasca has a few beers on draught, and we were highly - and positively - surprised to find the Christmas seasonal variety of the Belgian Afflighem among then.
