Most family-run unpretentious restaurants in Abruzzo can be very spartan and plain inside, as there is little concern with ambiance and decoration. This one makes an effort and is cozy and welcoming, with windows looking out over the whole valley. The service is prompt and friendly although you will need to read/speak some Italian. It is definitely the place to go if you prefer quantity over quality: the prices are cheap and they certainly lay on a spread. The pizzas are enormous, although the base is a bit too thick for my liking. However in an area where it is easy to find excellent local farm produce, the ingredients were clearly from a supermarket. Still, the price was reasonable and it was really nice to be able to sit in a restaurant with a great atmosphere in it. That is the main reason I would return. Outside there is a small area for kids to play, although it is close to the road, so not suitable for very young ones.Certainly a reasonable place for an informal, inexpensive family meal. ,Dear customer, thank you for your review. We would like to know what kind of pizza you've choose so we can inform you about the origin of each ingredient. We try always to prefer and use seasonal products from local farms but that doesn't mean that the purchase of some ingredients in a supermarket will make an ordinary or crummy pizza. We invite you to try again our quality dishes..Kindly regards.
