dal paese di planol si hanno due strade da seguire; la prima panoramica ma molto lunga, la seconda ripidissima ma vi permettera di raggiungere la maga in meno di un ora.Qui oltre a gustare le pietanze tipiche è possibile acquistare formaggio prodotto direttamente in loco.

Abbiamo scelto di fare qui la pausa pranzo ma il personale non parla italiano e per fortuna io conosco un pò il tedesco in quanto hanno distribuito i numeri per le portate e li hanno chiamati in questa lingua!Abbiamo preso wurstel e pane, 1 insalata mista, 2 caffé ed 1 bottiglietta di acqua spendendo abbastanza ma sappiamo che nei rifugi il conto finale non è mai economico.Il rifugio è grande e consente anche il pernottamento nelle stanze situate ai piani superiori.

Arrivati zuppi di pioggia abbiamo goduto del calore di questo rifugio.Cucina aperta tutte le ore e menù semplice; ottimo il piatto con speck, uova e pane tipico. Torte fatte in casa assolutamente da provare.Prezzi nella norma e servizio gentile anche se non parlano bene italiano.

Cucina tradizionale altoatesina in locale ampio e ben curato. Situato nella stazione a monte della seggiovia, con bel panorama sulla Val Venosta e sul gruppo dell'Ortles. Spazio giochi per bambini.

Eâ dal 2013 che almeno una volta allâanno passavo da questa valle per mangiare i migliori canederli dellâalto adige, dello speck strepitoso, dei ravioli di patate superbi, delle zuppe sopraffine, dello strudel profumato. Arriviamo e con sorpresa scopriamo che la gestione eâ cambiata. Il nuovo chef ci accoglie sorridente e gentile, spiega che il brutto tempo dei giorni scorsi non li ha risparmiati e che il menuâ eâ ridotto per lâemergenza, ma i canederli non mancano. Buoni ma non straordinari! Anche i canederli di dolce, ripieni di castagne e prugne sono gradevoli ( anche se il topping al cioccolato lâavrei omesso).Per ora tre palline, un voto interlocutorio, dettato, soprattutto dalla delusione di non aver trovato quello che mi aspettavo. La prossima volta spero di poterlo aumentare

Landed there without knowing anything about the restaurant and the 4 of us were really astonished. The food was really worth the price, and the owner of the restaurant is really a nice guy who helped us to sort out our problem regarding all the road closed du to much snow in the region. Schliniger Alm awaits the hiker or skier with inexpensive, tasty meals and lovely cakes. The new part is made entirely out of wood, with no metal pieces. The proprietors are very friendly.

The country inn as it used to be: Lots of different rooms, filled every weekend-day to capacity for lunch and dinner. Honest, straight-forward country cuisine. Huge portions at very reasonable prices: One almost feels back in times long gone by, when this hotel was a stop for the stage-coaches, before negotiating the Alpine passes.

A week's trip to Italy and I would normally be after traditional Italian cuisine and wine every night. However, this was in the German speaking Südtirol region very close to the Swiss and Austrian border. I researched the place in advance from a website devoted to beer and this place did well. I turned up about 19:30 and it wasn't too busy. A huge selection of beers served in porcelain tankards was a good plus. The menu was, unsurprising, very dominated by hearty meat dishes. However with the help of the waiter, we selected a vegetarian soup (cream of polenta soup) and a roasted goat's cheese dish which was either a starter or double sized portion as a main. That and a very tasty appetiser and some lovely smoky tasting rye and crisp breads made this a really enjoyable meal.With two beers and the food, the bill came to just â¬27 making it one of the best meals in a long while.
