Eâ dal 2013 che almeno una volta allâanno passavo da questa valle per mangiare i migliori canederli dellâalto adige, dello speck strepitoso, dei ravioli di patate superbi, delle zuppe sopraffine, dello strudel profumato. Arriviamo e con sorpresa scopriamo che la gestione eâ cambiata. Il nuovo chef ci accoglie sorridente e gentile, spiega che il brutto tempo dei giorni scorsi non li ha risparmiati e che il menuâ eâ ridotto per lâemergenza, ma i canederli non mancano. Buoni ma non straordinari! Anche i canederli di dolce, ripieni di castagne e prugne sono gradevoli ( anche se il topping al cioccolato lâavrei omesso).Per ora tre palline, un voto interlocutorio, dettato, soprattutto dalla delusione di non aver trovato quello che mi aspettavo. La prossima volta spero di poterlo aumentare

Apparently the pizza at Pizzeria Remo in Malles is award-winning. I can't eat pizza, so I can't say whether this is deserved. My friends enjoyed theirs. The pizza oven is outside the main kitchen where you can watch the cook making it. The restaurant is rustic and cosy, and the outdoor seating is lovely. The restaurant is popular. We arrived quite late in the evening, and there were still quite a few guests. The staff speak German and Italian, and the service is friendly. I had spare ribs, which were not very good. They were the type of spare ribs that are very very spare. The house wine was fine.Dear Christopher,thank you for your review on TripAdvisor. We were very happy about it. Too bad, that you could not taste our wonderful pizza. But your friends have enjoyed it. At least you could watch, how to make a delicious pizza in South Tyrol. From the atmosphere in the pizzeria Remo you been exited, did you like it very well!The spare ribs, which you have chosen, did you not tasted. Landed there without knowing anything about the restaurant and the 4 of us were really astonished. The food was really worth the price, and the owner of the restaurant is really a nice guy who helped us to sort out our problem regarding all the road closed du to much snow in the region. Schliniger Alm awaits the hiker or skier with inexpensive, tasty meals and lovely cakes. The new part is made entirely out of wood, with no metal pieces. The proprietors are very friendly.

The country inn as it used to be: Lots of different rooms, filled every weekend-day to capacity for lunch and dinner. Honest, straight-forward country cuisine. Huge portions at very reasonable prices: One almost feels back in times long gone by, when this hotel was a stop for the stage-coaches, before negotiating the Alpine passes.

Hotel restaurant, non staying guests welcome.We had a fresh Dear Carpaccio for a starter, Wiener Schnitzel and grilled Pike with Lemon Risotto. For desert Plum Sorbet with a creamy cake. The portions where big and service was good. Would go there again.

We visited this restaurant from Switzerland with my family including my small grand daughter. In a dark winter night it was not easy to find this place located outside Italian town of Malles. The food was fantastic and the service was friendly and professional. They were also very kind to the children. The chef here can obviously cook very well traditional and modern Italian specialties as well as South Tyrolean traditional food. I started with "Speckknödelsuppe" which was excellent, although I needed to wait for at least 15 minutes because the Knödel had to be prepared fresh. The main was the house made Tagliatelle in vegetables and veal sugo, which was also very good. We had a bottle of excellent local red wine âLagrein Riserva Taber St. Magdalena Cantinaâ. We will definitely come to this restaurant again even though it takes 30 minutes by car from Switzerland.

A week's trip to Italy and I would normally be after traditional Italian cuisine and wine every night. However, this was in the German speaking Südtirol region very close to the Swiss and Austrian border. I researched the place in advance from a website devoted to beer and this place did well. I turned up about 19:30 and it wasn't too busy. A huge selection of beers served in porcelain tankards was a good plus. The menu was, unsurprising, very dominated by hearty meat dishes. However with the help of the waiter, we selected a vegetarian soup (cream of polenta soup) and a roasted goat's cheese dish which was either a starter or double sized portion as a main. That and a very tasty appetiser and some lovely smoky tasting rye and crisp breads made this a really enjoyable meal.With two beers and the food, the bill came to just â¬27 making it one of the best meals in a long while.

I can only recommend this place to those who want to relax. At winter or summer, always good for resting.In a little cute village, with a lots of friendly people.The apartament is nice, the restaurant have delicious foods, for example "Spagetthi Meeresfrüchte", and the waiters are very attentive!!We will come back!
