Find out what Barbecue restaurants to try in San Gimignano. San Gimignano, known as the "city of beautiful towers," had 72 towers in its heyday. Now 14 remain, and, rising above Tuscany's Elsa Valley, they make the town look like a medieval dreamscape. Take in the fresco-covered Collegiate Church, the Civic Museum and the views from atop 177-foot Torre Grossa. Daytrippers from Florence tend to fill up the streets during the day, so for a more up-close-and-personal look at the town, spend the night.

We sought out this restaurant, based on reviews, for our last night in Tuscany. We are so glad we did! The service was friendly, the food very nice and wine reasonably priced. Steak is their specialty and was great! We had the mixed platter, spaghetti pomodoro, fillet steak and tiramisu between 5.... everything was devoured! Grazie per la sue recensione, lieti di aver soddisfatto le sue aspettative ci auguriamo di rivedervi presto.

First off the service. 5 of us and 4 pieces of dry bread. We waited over 20 minutes for someone to take our order and that included drinks. We ordered 5 pizzas and they were all partially burnt and so wet that they were just not like a pizza should be. I had a Calzone and it was just not very nice. It was edible and I dont mind well done or crusty at all as I love that, but not burnt. We paid about â¬70 so it was not the most expensive I have had. The waiter was not the greatest. He smashed a glass for another table, dropped glasses on a table and he even dropped a can on someone's foot. He was not the most capable.

DrinksWe were the 2nd time here. After 2 years again they did not have the beer from the spina. But they offer it in the menu. Beer from the bottle but not with beer classes. ...strange...Offer of local wines sfuzo and from the bottle OK. FoodTaste honest. A bit too salty. Casarecce was not home made. Price value relation good.ServiceTrying to be friendly. He did a bit hard. I had the impression that the waiter did not learn how to be professional but trying.Cutlery and dishes were not clean.
