Had an awesome Lunch & Wine Tasting experience at Tenuta Torciano. Our second visit in three years and introduced our family to this experience on our trip this year. Had a fantastic time with Sommelier Marco. This is a little hidden gem of a restaurant. With an owner who is your instant friend, chef, server and sommelier! He created a 4 course meal that was outstanding and unlike any other places. We had salad of smoked herring, fennel, orrange, soup of peas, anchovies, garbanzo, capers and spices, eggplant moussaka with parmesan cheese and eggs, chicken and turkey meatballs in the most delightful tomato, lemon and Grenache wine sauce and finally melon in Orange blossom honey, strawberry and lemon. Light, tasty and super healthy local produce meal. The bottle of vine was great also!
