We are staying in the Grand Excelsior and decided to come here to eat because it was convenient. To be honest, we were not expecting much and we were blown away!We had the Insalata Excelsior and the Beef Carpaccio, both of which were phenomenal. My boyfriend and I also shared the only non-seafood pasta on the menu and it was AMAZING! We had so many combinations of flavored that we have never experienced before. The gentleman that appears to manage the restaurant is a true professional. He takes his position very seriously, ensuring everything on the tables is placed correctly and straight, from the silverware to the oil and vinegar. He also took the time to pour our wine between two glasses multiple times to allow us to taste the wine open. Extremely impressed. We had the red wine - locally made, Librandi Ciro and it was fantastic. By far, one of the top 3 wines we tried on our trip. Overall, beyond impressed. This is truly a fine dining establishment in the most unsuspecting place!

We were four people and went there for pizza and hamburger and we paid 64 euros for 3 pizzas, a hamburger and a drink each. the atmosphere is good and the pizza is good but the hamburger is nothing special.The staff are nice and helpful. they offereed us amaro after food for free.It is a nice place to visit in Reggio, I recommended it.

There is a lot of competition in Reggio Calabria when it comes to pizza but this place can stand with the best of them. The variety and quality of the pizza here has been detailed in other reviews so I shan't write much - all in all, very good.On the downside, the staff, although all very pleasant, don't perform well under pressure. If it's a quiet night, you'll have no problems at all. If, however, it's more than half full, you can expect to be repeating your drinks order a few times...Would I go back? Yes.

...but terrible service. I don't have much to say about the pizzas: they were good. Not out-of-this-world, but good.The service, however, lets this whole place down. We waited for ages to be seated (the guy whose only job appeared to be seating people forgot about us), but we persisted because it was late. Then at the table, the waiter stood over us while we read through the beer menu, the drinks were brought promptly though. Following this we waited 20 minutes just to give the food order. Finally, the plates were whisked away while we were both still chewing the last mouthful. It didn't feel at all like they wanted the table.I won't be back. Gli Sbronzi desperately needs staff training.

We were surprised when we read the list of the dishes we could choose: it was not the typical Calabrian traditional food, but a mix of new ideas that actually were so intriguing. We were not disappointed.The place looks like an English pub (since its name, I guess) and it's very cosy, provided you are lucky enough to get a place: the restaurant is very small, so try to reserve your own place!

Great change, not a table cloth in sight and a tiny bit tired ( decor), but the food was such a welcome change we had steak telly lovely and dime sides my daughter had a beef burger, she loved she said it was like Eddie rockets Lovely guy serving us he was on the ball and our food came out together if your in town and fancy a no pasta/pizza dish try it outThank you...

very close to the Museum this restaurant offers the widest selection of dishes and a huge selections of beers. Family friendly, near the start of the main shopping Street, Corso Garibaldi, and of the beautiful seafront avenue (Via Marina). Definitely a must visit place.

This is a very decent pub by Reggio-standards. It has some of the freshest draft beer in the city and there is an excellent selection of bottled beers. However, it does appear that some of the beers that are advertised on the menu are never in stock...The food is basic Italian pub fare (fried things, pizza, etc.) which is served quite promptly after ordering. Service is almost always with a smile.The atmosphere is good with rock (70s - 00s) being the (sometimes loud) music of choice. It's not the place to go for a romantic night out but you can't go wrong dropping by here on a night out with friends.
