I'm from Germany and we found this place casuality on Tripadvicer..We just had dinner last night at Mr. Döner with some friends and I didn't expect that the meat would be that good. I ordered the Greco with extra spicy salsa. I liked the meat and the salad and also the varity of salsas are a nice idea, but the only "negtive" thing was the bread. The bread didn't convince me tht much and also my friends not!! In Germany where the Döner was invented they do it with Pide (turkish bread) and they toast the bread before they fill it up with the meat and this makes the difference in my opinion. If the bread was toasted it would have tasted much much better...maybe you can just try to toast the bread before and than put the meat :) However the place is hygenic, we liked the meat and the staff is very nice!! We will come back soon :)

On our last night in Reggio we decided to take my family that live there,out to dinner as a goodbye meal. It did not disappoint! Everything was absolutely fabulous! The food,the ambiance,the service,the owners....a true gem. The food is all native to the Calabrian region,and it was absolutely delicious.It is worth the trip to get there...you will love it! I plan on coming back when in Italy again

Su suggerimento di amici del posto ho cenato con mia moglie in questo ristorante; il locale è arredato con gusto anche se meriterebbe una rinfrescata; personale molto accogliente e gentile ed il proprietario, sorridente e piacevole, all'occorrenza, interagisce con la sala e consiglia le pietanze da scegliere.Su indicazione abbiamo scelto gli antipasti crudi e a seguire i cotti: una prelibatezza, materia prima spettacolare e freschissima.A seguire le linguine ai gamberi con crema di pistacchio da leccarsi i baffi.Ottimi i dolci per concludere la cena...Rapporto qualità prezzo eccezionale.

We were a large group of 14 and the were very graceful in seating and serving all of us. The initial salads were great. We enjoyed tasting Portuguese flavors. The meat servings were tasty and no one left starving. Lots of sampling that was very good.

A new and modern restaurant, opened only a few weeks by the Chef Pietro C. takes the local dishes and transforms them into haute cuisine. A modern decor and air conditioning makes you think you could be anywhere in London, NYC or Frankfurt. While you wait your food you are regaled with chunks of parmesan and slices of local cured meat, the slicing machine and the whole wheel of parmesan proudly placed in the middle of the restaurant. The B & B were we stayed Al Castello (which was fantastic) recommended we go here for typical Calabrian food. Everything is homemade and served on rustic pottery dishes. The flavors and tastes were incredible in each dish. VERY reasonable prices. Very good local wine, really friendly staff and excellent food.

We had a very tasty meal and i definitely recommend it for fresh fishAs starter we had the raw fish selection which was exquisite and surprisingly large portion!As main dish we got a grilled dentice which was very fresh!
