Beautiful location a short walk from the centre of Vicopisano. Menu is in Italian but owner is helpful with a translation book and advice. Food was incredible. We found this sandwich shop a short walk from the main attractions in Pisa. Very friendly staff, great selection of tasty sandwiches, nice choice of wines. We had the vegetarian and the Porchetta with Brie, the â¬4.50 recommended wine was delicious. You can take away or eat in, no extra charge, we highly recommend this restaurant for lunch.

It was our first dinner in Pisa. We made reservation but there was no problem with table around 7 PM. Owner spent with us a lot of time telling about every dish and wine from the menu. His knowledge about Toscany cuisine was impressive. We chose pasta with ragu and with asparagus. It was shocking that with so simple igredients you can made so many flavours. Chianti wine is my favourite now! I recommend this place.
