I've been here a couple of times already and I can't stress enough, I love this restaurant! The location is superb. The menu is just perfect. The stuff is really caring and dedicated. I'm not gonna lie, I would love to get married Dal Capitano. Grazie !! saremmo davvero felici di esaudire il desiderio ....allora ci teniamo pronti !! .-)

I was recommended to go here by the hotel I'm staying at. Still trying to get used to the "siesta" hours and having lost track of time sight seeing, a call was placed here and I was greeted at 2:30pm with arms open. Everyone was so nice. There was a language barrier but that did not keep three of them in helping me select a good plate.I had a salad to start with. I was presently surprised at all that was in it! Even corn. For lunch itself, I had the Ravioli. I'm not much of a pork person- but this dish had enough "ham" for flavor and the sauce itself was extremely flavorful. As you know, Italians have portion control so don't be fooled by the amount on the plate, the taste itself will fill you up. For dessert I was recommend the "Mascarpone e nutella" by Fabio. .............Oh my word!!! This was just the right amount of sweet after the lunch. On a side note, I met the owner, Rosaria, who has a very touching story. Her Bambino works there too and is the sweetest boy you'd meet. As a family operated business, I'm glad I came by here as the atmosphere was like having lunch at a friend's house. I would recommend.

What a fantastic and very pleasant restaurant the decor is most relaxing. The owner/chef greets you on arrival and presents some specials. The food itself is spectacular very well presented and so delicious I highly recommend this restaurant.

During a business trip we decided to dine in Maco and give it a try. The decor inside is warm and inviting. The waitstaff was friendly and accommodating, always ready to to assist. For our starter we decided to order an assortment of antipasto's. Overall good quality and fresh. For our primo's we ordered the tagliatelle in a white sauces with truffles. Very good. For our second dish we order flank steak with some sides of vegetables. The meat was properly cooked, tender and fresh. I would have to say the only downfall of our meal was the wine list. For a bunch of average middle of row wines the restaurant was charging an extremely high mark-up. Usually a restaurant will charge double the cost. Unfortunately, they were charging triple the value for once again average wine. Overall food experience was good, but be aware of the wine costs.

Appofittando della promozione su The Fork con uno sconto del 30% sul conto, siamo stati 'altra sera in questo locale.La sala è molto piccola e l'ambiente è informale. Il personale molto cortese.Purtroppo siamo capitati in una serata con una compagnia piuttosto rumorosa e questo ha rovinato un po la cena. Peccato perché la pizza è davvero molto buona e c'e la possibilità di scegliere tra vari tipi di impasto. Mio marito ha preso anche il dolce (cannolo siciliano )e gli è piaciuto molto. Il locale ha un buon rapporto qualità /prezzo. Con lo sconto in 2 abbiamo speso 22â¬!Sicuramente ci torneremo

Great food in a lovely setting. Spotlessly clean. Beautifully decorated with "old things". Owner takes a personal interest in the guests. Very inventive but delicious food. The most beautiful (and delicious) fresh fruit dessert I have ever, ever seen! And, the owner, after listening to our preferences, recommended a wine that was CHEAPER than the one I had chosen. How unusual is THAT????? (and it was divine!)

Posto pulito e gradevole con menu pizza e menu cucina che consentono una bella scelta a prezzi convenienti. Come mai solo 4 asterischi? Semplice: perché il cliente va salutato sia all'entrata sia all'uscita, specialmente se ha salutato per primo e ti ha interpellato con rispetto e gentilezza.

We came here for sunday lunch with the whole family, 3 adults and a baby. I have to say that everything here makes you feel in a starred environment, service, courtesy, old-ish silver cutlery, and most of all, the quality of the ingredients. I could bet that everything is extra fresh with respect of seasonality. What left me a little wondering was the taste of the dishes, I found some plate anonymous, with no real taste. I had the fish sampling but could not find any exceptional taste. As I always say, this is my humble opinion, I did not try many other things, and this cannot be considered a negative judgement for a starred chef. It's your go to try it :)

Went here for dinner while in Florence...recommended by concierge at St. Regis. The food was just ok....focus is on presentation not taste...they try to be artistic and original but food not the best. Worst part was waiting over an hour for our check. Apparently only one person working at the restaurant is permitted to accept payment. When that person finally gave us check he was rude and nasty! He made us feel like we were not important and he was! Stay away!
