I booked a table for my mother birthday. The ambient is nice, very typical. But food is a complete disaster. I ordered as main dish 'goose with pink pepper' and it was like bitter plastic. My partner ordered lamb with red fruits cream. It was impossible to taste the lamb because the cream was so aggressive. We spent all night trying to digest what we had eaten. My mother as well didn't feel well after dinner ... I also asked for a birthday cake and it was not satisfying. The wine indeed was great. In few words, just go if you are looking for a good glass of wine in the countryside!Egregia Signora, ci dispiace molto per la sua recensione poco sincera, sarebbe stato il caso di parlarne con noi la stessa sera, comunque le consiglio di festeggiare il compleanno della sua mamma in un mc Donald sicuramente potranno soddisfare pienamente i suoi gusti e i suoi problemi digestivi.le auguro una buona giornata sperando di non averla più ospite nel nostro locale.

Ristorante in posizione centrale. La sala da pranzo, pulita e ordinata, risente eccessivamente del trascorrere del tempo. Servizio semplice e, comunque, accurato. In occasione della sagra del fagiolo di Gambolò abbiamo optato per un menù degustazione a tema. Dallâantipasto al dolce , tra alti e bassi, siamo usciti dal locale abbastanza soddisfatti. Contenuto il prezzo: 20 euro a testa. Ottimi il gateau, la pasta con fagioli e salsiccia e lo stufato di borlotti; da rivedere i salumi e il dolce. Ad accompagnare una buona Bonarda, servita troppo calda. Nessuna ricevuta

We came here for sunday lunch with the whole family, 3 adults and a baby. I have to say that everything here makes you feel in a starred environment, service, courtesy, old-ish silver cutlery, and most of all, the quality of the ingredients. I could bet that everything is extra fresh with respect of seasonality. What left me a little wondering was the taste of the dishes, I found some plate anonymous, with no real taste. I had the fish sampling but could not find any exceptional taste. As I always say, this is my humble opinion, I did not try many other things, and this cannot be considered a negative judgement for a starred chef. It's your go to try it :)

We had a business dinner organised for our group in the restaurant. Being a vegetarian, I could get a few options. The taste, presentation and quality were excellent.

Went here for dinner while in Florence...recommended by concierge at St. Regis. The food was just ok....focus is on presentation not taste...they try to be artistic and original but food not the best. Worst part was waiting over an hour for our check. Apparently only one person working at the restaurant is permitted to accept payment. When that person finally gave us check he was rude and nasty! He made us feel like we were not important and he was! Stay away!

We were driven there by friends after a visit to the nearby town of Vigevano. As there was quite a fog the only certain thing was that we were in the middle of fields.The restuarant was nice and warm, with prompt and friendly service.What my wife and I have ordered was very good : their signature dish "Risotto del Mulino" and "Goose liver prepared four ways"The selection of hors d'oeuvres and deserts (our being a large party) was also very good but I cant name specifics.

Locale piccolo ma accogliente. Antipasti salumi buoni, il primo nulla di eccezionale (tagliatelle), la tagliata buona, dessert poco economico rispetto alla quantità . Servizio cordiale e gentile.

This was the ideal place to take my family and friends, to show them fantastic home cooked food. Service fantastic.My husband forgot to tell them we didn't eat a certain type of food and they went out of their way to please us!I highly recommend this cascina

I've been here a couple of times already and I can't stress enough, I love this restaurant! The location is superb. The menu is just perfect. The stuff is really caring and dedicated. I'm not gonna lie, I would love to get married Dal Capitano. Grazie !! saremmo davvero felici di esaudire il desiderio ....allora ci teniamo pronti !! .-)
