We tried this restaurant few days ago in the company of friends. We tried the "Tagliata di manzo con carciofi" and the "Tagliata di tonno" both were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Pleasant interior decor and atmosphere with nice portico with space for tables during the summer season. The pizza wood oven is visible from one of the restaurant sections. Good selection of local wines.

Un cliente mi ha fatto conoscere questo luogo e ne sono felice. Un posto di altri tempi con cucina tradizionale e prodotti fatti in casa. Una location bellissima e suggestiva a ridosso del Po. Complimenti al personale e alla qualità /prezzo.

Just popped into the centre of Stradella and found this very discrete bar. Well what a surprise ! We took advantage of the exceptionally well prices burger menu.A quite exquisite steak tartar burger with an excellent glass of red negramaro matched by a raw fish burger followed by home made tortino fondant chocolate. If you are within an hour of this place its worth making a diversion. Great service and very friendly staff. Highly Recommended

The owners are so welcoming, nothing is too much trouble. We had a lovely lunch, Allan's pate' is amazing! Really good quality food and wine. The restaurant has a warm and pleasant atmosphere.

...but we are not able to say that anything has really impressed us. Except for the location, everything seemed to be very cold. The service, the food and, unfortunately, the wine (we had a couple of glasses of sparkling wine...15 months of aging on lees). We have not encountered any passion. I had a business lunch here and having had pizza + fish dish I suggest to consider this location as a Pizzeria since the octopus as main course was nothing special.Friendly and good service.Price above the line for gourmet pizzas.

I write this comment in English hoping to encourage some foreigners to visit Broni and the surroundings. This non-advertised area (Oltrepo') is a great one for biking (famous world champion Fausto Coppi was born nearby), trekking in nature, discovering nice castles and tasting great food and wine.We stopped in Broni during a long trip, for a quick lunch, and selected il Centro by chance,A good choice. A very honest place, very good pizza, for a super reasonale price. Other local people were having the 2-course menu with primo and secondo. This is the typical simple Italian restaurant, family run, informal, no frills, all substance.We had pizza and beverages in 3 for 30 euros.Good place.

We had a lovely dinner, our waitress was very nice and very helpful..\For our appetisers we had the Salmon Tartare and the Gamberi, everything was fresh and delicious. As a main we had Straccetti with Rucola and Cherry Tomatoes with shavings of Pecorino and the Ravioli with Bufalina and tomatoes. The food was served without too much waiting time and everything was fresh and tasty.Our dessert was a triple layer of a cream custard with chocolate fruit and cinnamon, was very difficult to finish as it was a big portion but absolutely worth the try!!

Delightful little restaurant tucked away in Stradella. What a great addition to eating out in this town. The ambience is just lovely with painted pale green stencilled walls & crisp White tablecloths. There are different areas to eat both inside and out, weather permitting. On the outside it has a lovely little terrace and romantic small courtyard. The owner to this new restaurant is a delightful lady whom we have known before from another smart restaurant in the area, so she knows how to do everything well. We were in a party of six and had different starters and mains. The philosophy she has is good core ingredients served in a beautiful, but simple way. We were given a pre starter in gorgeous little bowls, a potato soup with a swirl of creamy cheese on top, lovely. Three of us had the delicious scallops. Two others had the Orata ..sea bream thinly sliced suchi style fish. Another had Foie Gras and the other one had Egg crocante. All of which were absolutely wonderful. The main courses we ate were branzino ..sea bass, baccala.... Salt cod cooked in a tempura, duck breast with plums, and three Filletto di Manzo ...fillet steak which had been cooked with a tasty crust around it. One was served without the crust, so as to be gluten free. Every dish was very good. The steaks were like butter they were so soft. All were served on the most beautiful white porcelain platters. Presentation perfect. For deserts two had the selection plates, two others had the sorbets and two the best creme brûlée we have ever eaten!! Exceptional....!!! We will definitely put this delightful restaurant on our list of must go to's when in Italy!

We had been recommended by another restaurateur to this restaurant. The interior of this is very impressive, beautifully restored very tall brick pillars arches and ceilings.The rest of the interior is modern with some of the chairs being swivel mustard yellow cone style, with 60's style lamps which swoop over the tables. The service is excellent, and very informative waiters. You can eat A La Carte or you can have a degustation menu of five or seven courses. We opted for the five courses. The portions are smaller so it allows your to have room to eat them. We had Batutta & Fois Gras, Pesce crudo, Rissotto with gamberi, Mialino & apple sauce. Every course was delicious except neither of us liked the desert we chose which was figs and a very young crem cheese. The high lactose content did upset my stomach a little. The other very nice surprise was the three nibbles pre starters. Very nice smart place to eat.
