Average sushi restaurant in Baranzate. We went there because we stayed near the fiera milano area. We got some rolls, sushi, salmon sesame and tempura. All average. Rice was a bit overcooked. If u don't have anything better u can give it a try. Otherwise just go to Milan...

In a simple and refined environment you can appreciate the Eastern hospitality. The service is very good. The menu includes a long list of delicacies, there really will be spoiled for choice. Some photographs are helping to make the best choice. The dishes are prepared with great care and meet the eye first and then are appreciated for the excellent quality and the delicious taste.

The location is pretty ugly, next the huge Gallarate street, at 427 number, and to find it you have to walk a bit, because its entrance is not right on the street side. The design of the restaurant, however, is a fabulous mix of post.modern and contemporary architecture with a oriental touch, which is present in other asian restaurants in Milan. The place is quite small but it seems huge because of the big windows, the wry ceiling and the sequence of lamps. The wooden table is nice, and has a compartment but I do not know what to insert; the place setting was nice, but our dishes were not clean. You have to order through a tablet where you can see the menu, but sometimes it's not as easy as a common menu. It has even a wifi connection and you can access the web but the signal is too low to work properly. We had a coupon from Groupon so we used it and we added some items to it.The service is particularly inattentive, in fact we had to wait nearly 30 minutes for our first bottled still water. We first had he seafood ramen: the portion was a little poor, especially if you think that normally it should cost about 10 euros, and were a bit too hot and a bit too cold, so I did not appreciated it at all.We ordered then a "pearls of shrimps" appetizer and this was pretty fine and out of ordinary. The 30 pieces sushi set of the coupon was nice, but a few grains of rice were undercooked. We ordered even a tuna rainbow uramaki and this was better than the others.I had some lichees and they served them in a wooden box.The presentation and decoration of dishes is superb, a little less the service and food.

.. short lines to introduce you to the Sosaku kitchen which is what we have always proposed. The Sushi that you know, the one that is often proposed is a very specific type of cuisine, called Edomae. (The Most Widespread) It includes those preparations th
This is the first time I experience such a poor service in a restaurant. We took our order from what was on the menù, unaware of what was about to happen. A few minutes after ordering, the owner came to our table, telling us that we had no idea of what we were doing and that they don't usually serve food that way, without being too specific, as they are a real japanese restaurant. At first, we thought that his intentions were genuine, but as soon as he tried to convince us, without anyone making any complain about the food or any apparent reason, that the glowing orange salmon was the real salmon (we know that natural fish doesnt get to that color without supplements in its food) and that the white tuna was the real tuna (in my country its called fake tuna to be honest)and that we have never tasted real fish before, we knew we were being scammed. I've never seen any restaurant owner being so unprofessional and arrogant, he basically tried to force us to choose some pricy starters that would have cost a lot more than other dishes, if we didn't he would go on about how unexperienced and silly we were and how traditional and pure was his kitchen style. As a result we left the restaurant. And that's the choice I think many people took since the restaurant was empty at 8.30 pm on saturday. Don't bother trying this place.NO FOR US⦠ITâS NOT THE FIRST TIME!!Dear Paula.. (I remember you)⦠Ignorance is something really unpleasant, so Iâm sorry for you and your friends.Youâre the prototypical ignoramus that owing to a lack of knowledge accuse others of âSCAMMING!!âIn my 20 years of experience Iâve heard a lot of nonsense, but youâve managed to excel in it!So here are some necessary clarifications to clear up that happened and, above all, educate you!Frankly, I was unsure whether to respond given that weâre dealing with some kids that in reality donât actually know what weâre talking about⦠but since weâre talking about my job, my profession: letâs talk about it! And do you know why? Because Iâm not going to be fooled around with by 3 ignorant kids!1 Dear Paula, well said: talking about fake tuna!!! Maybe in your country itâs what they serve⦠BUT I can inform you that the tuna that the âwhiteâ tuna we served you is âlong finned tunaâ and itâs one of the softest, most expensive and finest you can find.2 Dear Paula, you also said a series of nonsense so grave regarding the salmon that you were served (which you refer to as TUNA) that Iâm difficulty to give you an explanation⦠Iâm tempted to ask National Geographic for help but also this time Iâll try, however, promise me something: THIS TIME PAY MORE ATTENTION TO WHAT I SAY⦠the salmon on question is originally from Canada and Alaska, itâs red because it lives in shallow waters, eats red shrimp and is super slim because it goes up river⦠itâs called SOCKEYEâ¦. bla bla bla!!! I could continue endlessly but frankly it doesnât interest meâ¦.When I arrived at your table to clarify things (NO SCAM⦠you should be ashamed for using such a defamatory term) it was to simply explain the type of cuisine we do and I wanted (since you booked thanks to TripAdvisor) to explain the enthusiasm of so many people that taste the SOSAKU, the cuisine we serve at MOOKUZAI... totally different to what you probably eat, which is called EDOMAE.PS. As you you well know, while you were dining at MOOKUZAI, some big World Cup matches were being shown on TV⦠One last thing, your friend had booked for 20:30 and you rocked up at 21:15⦠(on a normal âSaturday evening at MOOKUZAIâ we would have had to cancel your reservation which would have saved us enduring such a pointless debate. Do me a favor and watch out for scams!ARIGATOMOOKUZAI

We are from California, which has some amazing Japanese restaurants, but IYO is one of my favorite restaurants in the world. We have been here several times and it does not disappoint...The setting and decor are gorgeous. And the dishes are unique and flavorful. I highly recommend it if you want a gourmet Japanese dining experience...
