We spent a lovely time for a dinner in this restaurant. Food was great (fresh sea fruits and fish, cook to precision). We enjoyed also Italian singing performed by the staff of the restaurant, especially Sig. Agatino whose voice was amazingly good. Overall an excellent experience to enjoy local Italian flavour in a traditional fish restaurant. We will certainly return there with great pleasure.

From arrival to leaving we felt very uncomfortable and unwelcome. The lady chef came to explain the menu, but when she discovered we were English she seemed to become irritated. The menu was totally in Italian and she didn't really help our choice as she couldn't speak English. I always try to use Italian and my translation on my phone, but she was definitely not prepared to meet us halfway. She never smiled and made me and my husband feel like we were a nuisance. I was prepared at this point to leave, but my husband felt it rude, so we stayed. I managed to order some pasta in a creamy sauce (that came in tomato sauce) and my husband ordered some sort of fish. After ordering and cooking it, the chef came back and told us that this fish was very expensive? The food was very bland and certainly not worth the â¬75 we paid! We left without being thanked or with a farewell smile or greeting from any staff. We felt the whole time that we were just in the way, even though the place was almost empty. Very disappointing and confused as to the TripAdvisor good reviews?

We have been dining at this Pizzeria for the past 5 years or more and it is the first restaurant that we visit when we are on vacation in Sicily. The pizza's are excellent and so much so we wish this restaurant was open all year round. We believe it opens in July and August. It is also closed on a Monday, like many of the local restaurants. So if you are in the area, this pizzeria is highly recommended.A family run restaurant which we think has been established for about 20 years. We enjoy the 'Etna' pizza, but have tried others which have all been very good.Good choice of drinks, great value and service. The pizza's are perfect, if only they could make these pizza's back home!Thank you Il Moro, we look forward to visiting you every year.

Found this eatery around 2 pm on a Monday afternoon, when all other spots in town had stopped serving lunch. The owner, who is daughter to Silvia, was so accommodating to our group of 5. She and her staff speak very little English, but put on a good effort, in conjunction with our devices, and provided a good meal at a reasonable price. We can recommend the neonata friselle, which are perfect little fritters of young fish served on a bed of sliced fennel bulb. Great experience with Sicilian people who aren't jaded by the tourist trade.incontrare persone tanto simpatiche, belle ed affettuose come voi mi ripaga ampiamente dei sacrifici che questo lavoro richiede Grazie. vi abbraccio.

Stumbled upon this restaurant whilst looking for dinner. Lovely little spot, just up from the coast. Sat outside at the back which was very pleasant - nice cool evening breeze made the meal enjoyable. Clearly popular with locals.Food was wonderful as always in this part of Italy - we had a mixture of salad, fish and pasta. The pizzas and other meals around us looked equally wonderful.Waiting staff were helpful and friendly, and maintained an impressively positive upbeat attitude despite the restaurant being very busy (which is itself a good thing). Very reasonably priced and service good. One downside was the smoking of some of those around us- and not a problem unique to this restaurant. The risks of choosing a table outside. But otherwise a good restaurant would be happy to dine there again.thanks

We took some fish. We did not ask for the weight so they obviously charged us way too much.We payed 90 Euros in the end.Thats not the prices you pay in Sicily for mid class restaurants.

When we entered from the entrance, our group were not sure about the place. I proposed to walk and see inside. You need to walk little bit to see the small terrace part which was cozy, nice and clean. It is a small family owned restaurant with great taste and offering affordable prices. It was lunchtime and unfortunately they don't serve pizza during lunchtime. But we enjoyed nice Sicilian food.
