Reviewed By Amber KI really enjoyed my stay. WiFi worked, big breakfast, free parking, beautiful view from the pool, friendly staff. The rooms are very basic, the road to get there is very narrow and hidden. Thankfully they out signs up, but I still managed to get lost coming back from dinner. Which, they do not offer at the resort. It would have been nice to stay in for a night. Nice for the price. I was planning my trip from America online, and the advertising says Taormina. It is not in Talking, but is centrally located. The beach is close, gole Alecantara, Etna and Taormina are all very close.

Good parking, delicious breakfasts, proximity to the sea. Especially grateful for a comfortable holiday Fabio - helpful host and a very nice person. He always advise on any issue. We are pleased to return to Furci Siculo

La Zagara is both B&B and holiday home. La Zagara is located just 15 km from Taormina, in the heart of the small fishing village of Furci Siculo, at 30 meters from the sea, in a quiet and panoramic position. It has 2 apartments. Every appartment has 2 double rooms (one apartment has 2 double rooms and 1 single room), all with balcony or terrace, equipped with heating and air conditioning, TV and private bathrooms. Every room has private bathroom. The house has a the kitchen or breakfast room. Breakfast is served or self managed with local organic products and homemade jams. Free wi-fi. The house has one nice lemon garden with outdoor kitchen and barbecue. Furci Siculo is a small and quite fishing village. Around the B&B there are all services: chemist, cafè, restaurant, herbalist's shop, butcher's and fish shop, market, bank, church, post office. La zagara is cloce to the sea (100 m) and near to beautifull and Historical locations like Taormina (15 km) Savoca (5 km) Forza D'Agrò (8 km) Isola Bella (12 Km), Catania (60 km) Etna (60 km) Eolian Island (60 km). We can organize for all travelers interested in widening their knowledge, trekking itineraries of great scientific, cultural and scenic interest like Etna.

Reviewed By B7971FUmarcomThis is a great place! Good proximity to the sea (quick walk to the stunning promenade of Furci Siculo), easy parking, quiet room and amazing host. My room was called "The Grape". Beds and furnitures were all confortable and nicely themed with the idea of Wine. Serena and her mum Rita a more the willing to make your stay as confortable and convenient ad possibile. If you're on the way to Taormina without spending a fortune I'd strongly recommend staying at La Zagara. Serena speaks fluent english. Least but not last, don't miss the opportunity to enjoy a glass of wine in the lemon garden next door, simply faboulous!

Un gattino, un lombrico, una farfalla.. Condividere un pezzettino di strada con i proprietari Dorotea, Paco, ed i loro figli Gaia e Julio è stato un onore ed un piacere ritrovato per quella condivisione del "viaggio" che ciascuno di noi percorre nella vita Grazie ragazzi e in bocca al lupo per cio che avete creato e che ancora creerete Consigliamo fortemente di andare, anche solo per un giorno, in questo posto incantevole Peppe, Luana, Edo, Morgana ed Esmeralda

Reviewed By Goodheart1973Abbiamo prenotato in questo b&b tramite booking, come da foto che allego, per due adulti + 1 bambina (7anni) al prezzo di €.240,00 per 4 notti dal 12 al 16 agosto. Dopo qualche giorno dalla prenotazione il proprietario ci chiama dicendoci che ci sarebbe da aggiungere al prezzo altri €.15,00 al giorno per la bambina. La cosa ci sembra strana visto e considerato che booking comprendeva anche il prezzo della bambina nella prenotazione, ma comunque accettiamo. L'ulteriore sorpresa che ha confermato la poca serietá del proprietario l'abbiamo avuta quando ci ha presentato la fattura, che allego, dove il totale era di €.320,00. Quando abbiamo chiesto spiegazioni ci é stato risposto che oltre il supplemento per la bambina c'era anche quello per l'utilizzo della piscina (faccio presente che ne abbiamo fruito per due ore il secondo giorno) cosa assurda se non chiaramente esplicitato al momento della prenotazione. Il proprietario all'apparenza gentile diventa facilmente indisponente, tanto da infastidirsi quando la sera lo abbiamo chiamato perché non c'era l'acqua calda, cosa che é capitata per due sere di seguito, sembra quasi che quella finta gentilezza la usi per un suo esclusivo tornaconto, soprattutto al momento di presentare la fattura. Ultima segnalazione per chi si reca li é che la colazione non é prevista, ma per loro concessione viene messa a disposizione un saletta dove c'é una macchinetta del caffé con qualche cialda e qualche merendina in un piatto. Peccato perché la struttura é carina, ma per la facilità con cui il proprietario ti prende in giro la reputo una struttura da evitare.
