First night in Italy and my Italian relatives took me to dinner at this quaint little restaurant in the Tuscany hills in the province of Livorno. There is a wide selection of food on the menu including Risotto di Mare which is a speciality of the region. Vegetarians are also well catered for including options for antipasto, primi and secondi. I found the portion sizes generous and the waiting staff courteous. The restaurant has an alfresco dining area - the perfect place for dinner and a drop of the local wine and watch the sunset over the Tuscan countryside.

Extremely tasty and tender Tomahawk steaks. Very large portions, payed pr gramme! Very cool owner, and good service. Rough roadside diner-style, well worth a visit. Somewhat un-Italian, just what we needed after days of pizza, pasta and seafood!

Such a warm greeting when we arrived. The view from the Restaurant over the town of Livorno is wonderful and started the evening off extremely well..The menu is diverse and has the biggest selection of Steaks I have seen for a long time. My wife, who's less of a steak eater was treated to a special from the Chef that was exceptional. Nothing on the menu but a meal cooked just for her so, thank you for your kindness.A truly great experience.There's a lot of Scottish influence in this Restaurant that shines through with their hospitality.I would recommend this place to anybody especially if you like steaks!Thank you!! It was great to meet you and we're very pleased you enjoyed your meal at Ghinè Cambrì! Hope to see you both again when you come back to Italy. Ciao!

If you want a taste of Tuscany and the friendliness of your own Italian family, this place is a must. We were in the area for only 4 nights and spent 3 dinners here. Everything homemade by the family and served by members of the family. The hospitality was amazing and they made us feel very special. The cannelloni on the last night was so tasty! Everything done to perfection and hot. Donât miss your chance to eat here.

This is an exceptional place. It's all about the food, the wine and you. Although they do great pizza's ( where in Italy doesn't ) the steak is definitely the main event. Sold by the kilo, choose wisely, take advice from the very knowledgeble staff and then enjoy with a superb range of wines.

This restaurant is a little aways from the train station/city center but offers a great view of another section of Tuscany! I guess you would expect that such a restaurant at this location would be overpriced with mediocre food, but we were pleasantly surprised by both! Two words of caution, we almost didn't get seated on the patio because we came at 3 pm. There is no "warning" on the restaurant's website so plan to eat lunch earlier in the afternoon. Second, getting a cab from the restaurant back to the city (or in our case the train station) takes a bit f time and we ended up missing our train. So just another thing to plan accordingly for ahead of time.
