The Torchio is a place one should definately miss to visit. We went there for dinner in June 2015 and did not get one decent meal! Everything drowned in oil, meat prepared with neither spices, herbs, garlic or anything else. The Salat ,,Mista,, was plain green salat, no tomatoes, no onions, nothing. The Pizza was fried and not eatable. Never again. This is a very nice restaurant. There were three of us and we ordered the Florentine steak and tagliata steak. It was all cooked to perfection and the hostess offered to put shaved truffle on mine and I was in heaven! The wine suggested was also perfect, a smooth Chianti to complement the food. All the deserts were fresh and heavenly.The atmosphere was formal without being pretentious and although the place was almost full with a mix of families and groups the noise level was never an issue.There was ample parking right next to the restaurant as well.This was one of the best meals we had in Elba. The price for three was approx. 150 Euros. Good value considering what we ate!

We recently enjoyed a pizza night here with friends.Light airy delicious pizza's - probably the best I have eaten & reasonably priced.We had our meal on the outdoor terrace overlooking the sea - enveloped in the warmth & tranquility of the gentle evening light. (We had pre booked our outdoor table as they are in demand!) The service was excellent, courteous and friendly. It was a a lovely relaxing "quiet" dinner experience - only a few steps away from the centre of town. I will revisit to sample other items on the menu- which coming out to other diners on the night - looked amazing! (Currently Not open for lunch)

We discovered this restaurant through trip advisor and gave it a try. Set in a beautiful location, with a beautiful terrace overlooking the hills of Elba, this restaurant lived up to expectations.Lovely family run business, polite and attentive staff and last but not least great food and presentation. We be definitely be booking again when in Elba.
