Dropped in for a meal and wasn't disappointed. Good food and friendly service. Will be back. Plenty of taste and food well presented. Relaxing evening out.

Whilst staying in Birr for a few days we found this superb reasturant., From the Outside it looks like a takeaway but venture in and you find a hidden gem. The welcome is warm and friendly, the decor quiet and intimate, then comes the food. tasty, innovative and beatifully presented. The menu 'though not extensive invites you to come back to try another enticing dish. Did we enjoy it? You better believe it ,so much so we went back again, a further 2 nights, guess what, the food was consistently superb.

I've previously gotten very bland food in Kong Lam. The main course sauces seem watered down and are completely tasteless. This time I ordered the Chicken Kung Po. I expected there to be peanuts in this dish as well as chillies but instead I got chicken covered in what seemed to be red food colouring. Definitely the worst Chinese takeaway I've ever had. Won't be back.
