we had a dinner me and my gf ,the food was mediocre and the staff was cold and unfriendly with us without any reason , they left us with our empty plate for 20 minutes and we had to call the sever to ask him to clean the table and have dessert .. i hope this was just a bad day because we did not felt welcome and we will not return anyway . i suggest to make some customers service improvements

Its a long time since I ate in a hotel restaurant where I was not staying over. So this was an unusual experience for me. One of our group had picked here for dinner. For a Saturday night the restaurant was virtually empty but I suppose not many people eat in a hotel restaurant these days unless they are staying over. As I was the only one not driving I ordered a pint of Guinness (â¬5.20). We decided to skip starters and go straight for the main course. We had the Tagliatelle (â¬16.50) which was plentiful and good value, the Prawn Risotto (â¬19.90) which my wife enjoyed and the Veal (â¬28.00) which was disappointing. The veal was 2 small pieces very well cooked and came with mash potatoes which was ok. For â¬28 I at least expected some vegetables and so I ordered the mixed salad on the side (â¬4.70) which was good and plentiful. We went for the Tiramisu which was good but not worth (â¬7.90), the Sorbet & Ice Cream (â¬6.50) which was good and a pot of tea for 1 at â¬3.50 wow!. I suppose these are Dublin prices but for me a tad expensive for what we got.

We were made welcome immediately and so began a lovely experience.The place is spotless and spacious. The atmosphere is great. The staff are friendly and engaging and professional. The menu is well laid out and they offer Pasta, meat and fish and pizza options. They have 2 beers on draught and I think they should consider adding an Italian beer to their draught list. We really enjoyed our meals very much.I had the pasta Al Diavolo and was was well pleased. I was pleased with the bill. As a visitor to Dublin it is always good to be taken by a colleague to one of their favourite restaurants and Sparks proved a great choice. Close to the office we will definitely come again! I had a perfectly cooked salmon steak with asparagus wrapped in serano ham, cream sauce, crushed potatoes and mushrooms with onions. Divine. The fish could not have been better prepared and the flavours were perfectly balanced. Compliments to the chef for creativity and presentation. Stopped in after a search for pizza on TripAdvisor. Made a reservation online for 6. Everything was great- great wine, beer and non alcoholic homemade lemon-limeade. Wings were delicious. We each got a different pizza. Gluten free is available. Iâve had much better gluten feee pizza in America, but it was decent and everyone else LOVED their pizzas. There are about 15 different types of pizza to order from. Waiters were very nice!Thanks Erbear289 for joining us here in Boco with your group, it was our pleasure to welcome you all.We are happy you thought your beverages were great (our homemade lemon-limeade is a customer fave) and that your Wood-fired Chicken Wings were delicious!It's also great to hear you liked your Gluten free pizza and that the rest of your group loved their pizzas.Yes, we currently have 15 Pizzas and a Calzone available on the menu along with a Pop Up Pizza, which changes on a regular basis.Thanks for mentioning your waiters as we a really proud of our Team and will certainly pass on your kind words.We hope you have a great week and wish you guys all the best.The BOCO Team

A lovely family run restaurant. Great place, delicious food ( home made). Surroundings are so warm and inviting such a lovely atmosphere. The staff are so friendly and attentive they always make us feel at home. I love this place. This is a great place for a family to enjoy a meal and have catch up.

This is a lovely little italian gem! The food is fantastic, real italian! Pizza is for sure the best in Dublin 15 if not from Dublin! Lovely selection of bruschettas and pasta! Staff allawys attentive! So, if you want to get a nice Italian dinner and great value, this is the place!

A very authentic Italian. Family owned fir many years and as a consequence has great food and exceptional reputation. Itâs therefore v popular! It seemed a bit disorganised some people arriving later getting served first; menus but no wine list TIL asked but all worked out in the end. Quite a few children early evening.
