Outstanding location with a one of a kind wine cellar to sip some drinks before dinner - the cellar is simply impressive, really worth visiting. Food was above our expectations, very creative and tasty. We were staying at the hotel and this is also a unique experience, rooms are very large and comfortable and staff is always willing to help.

Absolutely incredible views from outside - we were so lucky we had lovely weather so we could appreciate the cherry, peach, olive and fig orchards. We had an incredible homely traditional meal with accompanying wines. The meat was made over an open fire - you can watch it being cooked inside. We were all well fed and watered by the end. A simply beautiful place.

We were directed to this lovely venue when touring the beautiful Slovenian wine country. It is a beautiful classic building offering fine dining and winetasting. It is the best place to sample many of the wines produced in this area. We enjoyed tasting and snacking and had a difficult time deciding which of the many fine wines we wanted to bring back to the US. The venue would be suitable for weddings or conferences as well. The drive to reach it was beautiful and the castle was a delightful reward. If you are visiting Slovenia, we highly recommend spending a day here.

This small tavern is located directly on the Via Aquilela next to a roundabout traffic. Simply furnished with tables in- and outside you are wellcomed by friendly staff and a easy going, warmhearted hospitality. Have lunch or just a break with a coffee, a drink, a snack, or a pasta, or taste some wines from friulanien grapes and buy some bottles. It's the perfect place to enjoy life and relax in italien atmosphere!

I visited this place at the beginning of 2015: these guys do their best to keep a good selection of local raw materials and wines and they are right of making in their own pride.I wish them long life (they have changed management recently)to be able to visit them again soon.to be recommended friulano wine (formerly known as tocai) and their boiled meat mix.Grazie per gli auguri e per gli appezzamenti, caro cliente Curiosite del Regno Unito! This place was recommended by our hotel in Gradisca. We got there just before lunch and the place was very busy with locals enjoying a fresh glass of Prosecco or Ribolla.Food is good and the atmosphere is great! Just the real thing in Italy!We ended up buying a couple of cases of Prosecco and Ribolla and two magnum as well. Prices are competitive!

Very pleasant people waiting for you in this charming place. Restaurant is part of a famous local winery (Collavini wines) and therefore wines are obviously the main attraction,,,,,, Food is good and prices fairly honest.It deserve a stop while travelling around Collio and Colli Orientali del Friuli

Myself and my husband have been here many times during our weekend breaks in friuli. This place is serious for wine lovers. They have a huge, very well priced list of local wines, by the glass or by bottle and it gives you a chance to know less well known producers. Service is rapid and effective. They also have a small food menu.

We are two Australian couples of Italian background and my cousin and myself mother and father came from Capriva and Cormons. We arrived to eat lunch here at closing time. Instead of turning us away the owner and cook welcomed us into the restaurant and cooked us your typical fruilano food (frico, proscuitto and polenta), together with the amazing wines from this area. Food was fantastic and the service was excellent. I would go back to this restaurant if I am ever back in Coromons
