Siamo stati presso la Villa per il battesimo dei miei gemelli. I proprietari hanno organizzato tutto nei minimi dettagli, siamo arrivati in anticipo per fare le foto con la torta prima dellâarrivo degli ospiti (per evitare che i bimbi si addormentassero) ed era già tutto pronto.Cibo buonissimo e servizio impeccabile.Inoltre la Villa offre un panorama mozzafiato!

A very nice restaurant in a very nice Sicilian town placed close to the Etna's natural park. Staff service was excellent, specially advising foreigners about the menu. There you can eat really good pizzas, but, also, and the most important, you'd be able to taste the Sicilian style pizzas (folded and fried).Furthermore, don't miss the exceptional dishes with funghi porcini gathered from Etna's woods (pizze, fetuccine.)All of this at a very convenient price. Definitively, Zafferana Etnea is a must visit town, and Moulin Rouge the place to enjoy the Sicilian cuisine there.

The restaurant is in Zafferana main square. Nothing fancy, the place is small, but cosy. The personnel is very kind. The menu offers a limited selection of apetizer, pasta and main courses. And this is what I like of this places: few options, but very limited possibility to get it wrong. Both the two kind of pasta we ordered were really good. My mother wouldn't prepare it better! :) And trust me this is quite an achievement! I had a mix of grilled meat as a main course and everything was good. Dessert (homemade walnut icecream with caramel and hot choccolate) was divine! Very good value for money. I highly recommend it.

Craft made beer is very good as well as Sicilian and traditional pizza. Waiter is very very kind. Everything was ok but expensive. It worthwhile a visit for dinner so you can enjoy the evening and the sunset view.

This is an elegant restaurant in an out of the way place. We only found it as part of a tour. Everything was locally made and very good with excellent service. We had bruschetta with a delightful tomato based topping, breaded veal and pasta with tomatoes and eggplant and ground beef. This was very good food and we figured pretty safe as we spoke limited Italian. A nice local red wine was chosen for us and for dessert we enjoyed rich ice cream. There are not too many great food options this close to Mount Etna. Definitely eat here. As a bonus the views of the nearby countryside are spectacular.

We found this place just randomly as we were staying in the hotel not that far and we never regret. When we first arrived it was completely empty and we thought it might be closed but no, a nice girl explained to us that they expected a musical evening/night but they found a table for us. The table was located in a kind of a corridor connected to the terrace. We were not very convinced but as it was late and not many places around we decided to stay. What happened next you can only describe like âwhat happens in Vegas, stays in Vegasâ. The restaurant was full within an hour with people who had reservations for an outside tables and it appeared to be a karaoke night. There were just three of us on the outskirts but we were delighted with the local voices singing the classic songs. Delicious food, must admit though that the menu was fixed and you cannot choose whatever you want. However, there was plenty of food just coming and coming. Very friendly staff. Very friendly people around. So the atmosphere was just majestic. We had so much fun. And of course food. Delicious local dishes and so many that you even feel like a little pig trying to try everything. House wineâ¦Not sure if we ever get back again as it was too good the first time, but definitely the place to recommend to spend time with friends and family!

Fabulous lunch!! We stopped in on our way from Mt Etna to Taormina. Fabulous pasta and the grilled salmon on a bed of mayonnaise was absolutely amazing!Our server Eugenio made the experience all the better! Great suggestions, excellent attention to our table.Top all this off with sweeping views of the sea and countryside and you have a lunch to remember!

Zafferana Etnea is a quaint village with a magnificent 180 degree view of the sea. Well worth a visit especially for the âOttobrataâ: the Sicilian Oktoberfest. At the Ottobrata you can find top quality local produce (honey, mushrooms, etc).What can I say about the Foglie da te? Simply excellent (these are theâoriginalsâ: SALEMI).Delicious crispy biscuits. Freshly made. You can choose from almond, pistacchio and hazelnut. Or a mix. Various size boxes: 100, 200, 300, 500 grams. They will seal-wrap them as you buy to preserve their freshness.To save space in your luggage they will also post for â¬15 for a carton of 5 kgs (equivalent to 15 300g boxes).Everyone has 15 friends that would be ecstatic to receive such a delicacy.

Gastro-style pub with rock legend décor, wide selection of beers and cocktails, not overly priced, selection of panini, salads and first courses, incredibly friendly staff who gave a very personal, enthusiastic service. We immediately felt very welcome and they also spoke English, which is great for any tourists visiting Acireale.
