Raggio di Luce is an eco-friendly family run residence hotel. The owners are more than friendly they make you feel like at home, the rooms and apartments are very spacious, clean, comfortable and well equipped.

Reviewed By th0mas1960Upon arriving at the hotel we were greeted by Carla - the owner. Immediately we felt, there is something different. It feels like coming home. The dinner that we were then offered and for the next 9 days - (for a team of 15 people, incl. vegetarians) was prepared with so much love and thoughtfulness. Mushrooms that were handpicked, all content from the garden, or the forest. Absolutely amazing! And so tasty!! After a hard day of work in the mountains we enjoyed the spa - done with so much thought as well. For people who love the mountains and the nature and mindfulness - a must! Definitely a recommendation. Thank you Carla - to you and your husband!

Consigliatissimo e soprattutto pulitissimo❤️ Awesome location, the staff is very kind and nice, the resort is surrounded by a fantastic landscape. All the comforts are available and home solution for any request (apartments, bungalows, spaces for campers). You do have to try it!

Reviewed By patb912leedsWe stayed in a bungalow near the lake. Great position. Nice clean village. Rooms very clean. The only issue is the walls are very thin, you can hear your neighbours pressing a light switch, on the toilet, in the shower. The restaurants and entertainment area were near our bungalow but the noise didn't carry and everything finished early enough anyway. Any issues with rooms and once reported seems to be dealt with immediately. You can rent a bike from behind reception. There is a shop on site selling fresh bread rolls, croissants and the usual. Swimming pool clean. You have to wear a swim hat, not a bad idea, at least no long hairs in the pool. Good pool bar, food ok. Lots of sun beds but people do go up when pool opens at 9am to put towels on best beds and don't turn up until lunch time, this is unfair but no one seems to bother. There are plenty of beds but some are the uncomfortable white plastic ones, the woven ones get saved first, they are quite comfortable. Site is as described. It's about a 45 min comfortable walk into the old town via the marina and about 20 min walk to the centre where the restaurants are and the main bus stop.If you are going to rent a car, arrange one to pick up at the airport. Most of the restaurants charged a levi of 2-2.50 Euro per person on top of your meal so be prepared.

Reviewed By BenS6106Myself and my girlfriend stayed here in a deluxe room for 6 nights, last week. This family run hotel and restaurant were simply excellent. The staff were friendly and attentive, the rooms were very clean and spacious. Breakfast foods are supplied in your room everyday and guests receive a discount to eat in the adjacent restaurant for other meals of the day. The food in the restaurant itself was incredible. There was always somebody around to ask for information about getting around the local area. I can't recommend this place enough.

Our apartments are situated in the historical centre of a small town, Salo, at twenty meters from the beach and from the lakefront and the longest pedestrian lake-front of the Garda lake with its 2,8 km. The 18th-century building has been recently renovated. The apartments have prestige finishing and they have been furnished with attentive care; wooden beam ceiling in view, wide windows, intermediate floors, balconies and terraces. They are supplied with all comforts: independent heating, air conditioning (at call), television set, washing machine, and elevator.
Self catering apartment in salo - Iris 3

The location is excellent, just a few minutes from the lake side and a 10 minute walk from all the bars and restaurants at Salo and there is a view of the lake from the window The apartment is advertised as having air conditioning but this was just in the main bedroom so the rest of the apartment was extremely hot . There was a mobile air conditioning unit which didn’t work There were no instructions for things like what to do with rubbish, and we couldn’t work out how to use the microwave The shower was cold with no water pressure so I ended up showering in the outside pool shower as it was warm The apartment was clean enough but a bit smelly and needed a good bleaching ! There was a supermarket 2 minutes away which was good Overall excellent location but disappointing apartment

Reviewed By anacarolinap739The hotel was super clean and our room was really so beautiful and comfortable like was in the photo.We felt very welcoming by the Alexandra.We felt like at home.Dogs are also very welcome.Our small dog Estela was also very good wellcome and very happy during the days in this hotel.The location is also very good for enjoying the beach.To the historic center is also no that far you can reach by foot in 20 min or by car even less . We hope soon possible come back to Sirmione and stay again in same hotel.We brought home happy memories of our stay by Alexandra Residence.We recommend this hotel for all who wish visiting Sirmione and want stay in a comfortable, beautiful and good located place.the view of our balcony was like in a movies.

Reviewed By Andy8412Had a fantastic time in at Residence La Rotonda, for a week in May with my girlfriend and 3 year old boy. The complex is broken down into apartments (which we stayed in) and a hotel also. We arrived late and our keys were left out for the for check in the following day, which is very helpful, given how tired we were. Accommodation & Complex: We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment, with kitchenette, as self catering. The room maybe basic but I wasn't expecting anything else, given the very competitive price we paid. In fact, it surpassed expectations. Was clean throughout, we had superb view and very generously sized balcony. Free Wifi, worked in our room also, which was a bonus. We had a leak in the bathroom first day but this was instantly fixed. Beds weren't very comfortable, being one of the only downsides. Excellent facilities; included a small gym area, basic equipment. Indoor pool (we didn't use, as got lucky with the weather), Indoor toddler play area (again basic) and two outdoor pools, either side of the Pizzeria/Bar, which were cold but there were always sunbeds available to my surprise, even though the complex appeared full! Also my little boy enjoyed the playground, right next to one of the outdoor pools, which was safe and in good condition and could always keep an eye on him. Location & Local Area: From the main road (from Milan, Verona), you drive up the mountain side and takes about 15 minutes to get to the complex and watch out for German motorists if you're driving and be brave on the windy roads. The Germans like to take the wrong side of the road often and I'd say about 75% of the cars around Lake Garda are German! There is a hotel car park or if staying in apartments, you will have an allocated space to correspond to your apartment number. However, don't expect to ever be able to use this...yes you guessed it, the Germans have taken them again too, typically most are arrogant, boring and appear to have no gratitude towards staff and locals, to which we were a breath of fresh air, as was commented by various people! Anyway, further up turning left out of the apartment complex is Gardola; a small quaint mountain side village, with shops, bars and restaurants. Easily within walking distance. I'd recommend Pizzeria Apollo XI with excellent food and service. The staff there are very friendly, especially Teddy! Everyone appears to be happy and love kids and not just specifically here, seems to be the area in general. Further afield, we visited towns and villages around Lake Garda. Pleasant but sometimes scary drives and ultimately plenty to do, such as boat trips and water sports, cable car up Monte Baldo and various stone beaches. Also went to Verona and Romeo & Juliet's balcony is well worth a visit. Finally; I was also expecting the area to be pricey for food and drink but was pleasantly surprised. Pizzas and pastas ranged from 5 to 9 Euros generally, still being quality food and soft drinks, beer were your normal typical UK prices. So was typically spending around 30 Euros for an evening meal, for 3, which isn't bad. Overall I'd give the accommodation and holiday 5/5, as besides the Germans - I really couldn't fault how welcome we felt in Italy and the beautiful landscape scenery helps too!

Our residence Besàss lies on a stretch of mountain in a magnificent, panoramic position at 580 m above Lake Garda. The Residence is located within a short walking distance from the town centre of Tignale: Gardola. All the flats are south oriented, with a wonderful lake view and can accommodate up to six people. Residence “Besàss” offers you an outdoor swimming pool for adults and a children pool, a play ground for your children, a reception with a small bar, internet point, table tennis and big chess.

Reviewed By janep100What a treat this hotel turned out to be! If your a crazy surfer, kite surfer etc!!! This hotel is in a perfect place however if you are just looking for a lovely, relaxing hotel in an incredible setting then this is also for you! We absolutely loved it! (We don’t do the surf thing) A clean, cosy no frills hotel, but excellent standards! Fresh towels, fantastic shower, comfy bed to rest your head after a lazy day! Then a Beautiful courtyard for breakfast which was fresh and plentiful! Obviously we have to mention the coffee that was outstanding! We also sat and enjoyed, lunch and had a few glasses of wine in the evening when the sun went down... so peaceful and just perfect! The family and team who run the hotel are so caring and cannot do enough to make your stay comfortable! A real treat I would recommend to anyone! We will be going back as often as we can as this little place has it all.... well done and thank you.
