A very warm, hospitable and cosy surrounding
Reviewed By GregyorWe've visited the Innerkratzerhof in February 2014. We made the arrangements directly with the family and all correspondence was swift, reliable and most of all complete. At arrival, which was an adventure due to loads of snow, we've felt the hospitality of this family. The apartment was clean, beautiful and modern, with an Austrian flavor. The mix is sublime. If you feel the need to stay in touch with the outer world you can use the free WiFi, which is fast and reliable. Facebook / Youtube junkies as we are didn't feel the need until the 4th day of our stay. The surroundings are beautiful and makes you want to stay instead of going back home. Breakfast is super, there's plenty of everything, and if you forgot something for making dinner, you can use the supplies room. All in good faith that you're honest, and believe me, it will not occur to you not to be. We've already arranged our booking for coming February 2015!

The restaurant at Geniesser-Restaurant Hotel Reiterhof Ortnerhof serves Tyrolean specialities and Mediterranean dishes. Guests can relax on the sun terrace, and barbecue evenings are organised in July and August. Hiking is possible at the nearby Hohe Tauern National Park and guided horse riding tours are also offered. Children can ride the ponies free of charge when accompanied by their parents. A free ski bus stops just 90 metres away and provides connection the the Grossglockner Resort-Kals Matrei Ski Area. The best childhood memories
Reviewed By arcorm(I've last been there in 2013 but trAd wouldn't let me go back further than 2017) I quite literally spent almost all of my childhood summers in this Little Austrian village and have the happiest memories of mountain trails with the horses, cuddeling the kittens, midnight trips to the stables and loads of other small and big adventures. We only stayed in the Ortnerhof once (all the other times we stayed at a holiday flat nearby) and were still almost considered part of the family, always welcome in the stables, for a dinner or even just a little chat. I learned most of my horseback riding on their agile but sure footed and well behaved horses from the first wobbly steps on their riding ring at 9 yrs old to being allowed to go on a solo trail. I would be afraid to go back nowadays because I know it's different and not as I remember it but I can only highly recommend it for families who are looking for a place that offers a wide variety of both relaxing and active activities for adults and plenty of things to do for the little ones, which will entertain themselves most of the time. We don't even have to talk about the absolutly stunning surroundings. (originally from Germany but writing in English in order to get some English reviews in for this amazing place)

IDeal hotel for young family
Reviewed By GeorgeWolfsIt combines all nice opportunities for children between 2 and 6 years. In all Aspects. In the restaurant children Can run almost everywhere. Restaurant quality and choice ranges from average to better. Bored I got from the salads, ok always 7 variations were available but the lunch and dinner provided them. In lunch it was ‘main course ‘ and that made lunch sparse. Cleaning of the whole hotel was extremely good. Location ideal, straight personnel. 4 star rooms, and because of traditional building noise isolation was not optimal. Curtains thin which makes sleeping out difficult.

Reviewed By Lv2TrvlWeltWhat a find! This inn has been in the family for 400 years (it's been renovated since then). Yes, the floorboards creak and (our) bathroom was small, but it was comfortable and cozy. The food was delicious. Breakfasts are worth getting up for between housemade jams and locally produced eggs and meats. Dinners are large (you could easily share entrees) and the desserts worth ordering. Our soups were a little salty, but other than that, very impressed with the quality and choice of meals. The Gasthof is close to many trailheads. In many of the rooms, if you open the windows you can hear the rushing stream. I've gotten jaded by years of business travel. What an unexpected treat to not just meet the owner and family, but get to see - and talk with - them daily. It's worth a repeat visit, which we look forward to.

La ubicación es muy buena para acceder a rutas de trekking y de bicicleta de montaña. Tiene parking gratis para los clientes en la propia casa. Es un lugar muy tranquilo pero también cerca de la carretera del valle. La dueña es muy amable y atenta, siempre está disponible para cualquier consulta.Tienen mucha información sobre la zona. El desayuno es buenísimo, tipo buffet, muy completo y todo muy rico. Te recomiendo cenar también allí. El menú cuesta 11 euros (ensalada buffet, sopa, un plato muy completo a elegir entre dos, uno de ellos vegetariano y un postre). Bebidas aparte. Además está muy rico, comida casera y variada. La relación calidad/precio del alojamiento y de la cena es muy buena. Si vas a Schönes Welt no te querrás ir. Muchas gracias a la propietaria, me he sentido como en casa

Sehr nette Pension in bester Lage

Unser Zirbenzimmer war ausgesprochen praktisch eingerichtet, hatte einen traumhaften Ausblick vom Balkon und ein wirklich bequemes Bett. Das Frühstück ließ keinerlei Wünsche offen, serviert werden lokale Produkte wie die Eier vom Bauern ums Eck und selbstgebackenes Brot. Die Lage der Pension ist ideal, wir sind unsere beiden Wandertouren direkt vom Haus gestartet, am Abend war ein wirklich ausgezeichnetes Gasthaus ebenfalls noch in Gehweite (ca. 10 - 15 Minuten). Durch die Lage etwas oberhalb des Ortes ist es in der Nacht wirklich ruhig, man hört nur das Rauschen des Baches. Herr und Frau Weiskopf waren sehr nett aber dabei nicht aufdringlich. Wir haben uns wirklich wohl gefühlt. Wer ein einfaches, aber komfortables Zimmer in bester Lage mit großartigem Frühstück sucht, ist hier gut aufgehoben.
