We stumbled, thankfully, across this unpretentious storage container. On the recommendation of customers who had just been fed, we had the shrimp tacos. Nothing short of excellent. Washed down with some local beer and wine, and served by a very pleasant guy, make sure you pay them a visit if you find yourself in this lovely village.

Saffron is an amazing authentic Thai restaurant. In the kitchen, the chef and most cooks are of Thai origin. They have many of the classic dishes and do control the spiciness of the dishes depending on your taste. My favorite is the classic Pad Thai, truly a different experience from most.Service is always above and beyond. The atmosphere is relaxing and cozy in a contemporary space. There are both indoor and outdoor dining areas. Mosquitos can be very aggressive outdoors at night, so we prefer the indoor pavilion.

The food was really impressive and there were some tasty vegetarian options available too. Our family also really appreciated our server Marco A. Gregario. We ate here while staying at the Grand Luxxe and our dinner was excellent. We had short rib dim sum as an appetizer and delicious entrees of some kind of tacos and pork dish. Our waiter was Arjel and he was excellent. He was attentive and caring and so very nice. We got a banana spring roll for dessert to share and it was also excellent. The atmosphere of the restaurant was really nice and we had a manager, Manuel come up and talk to us at the end of our dinner and he was extremely nice too. Highly receommend for excellent food, a lot of choices and superb service. Hats off to this fantastic restaurant.
