One of the better places to stay in this part of the world
Reviewed By Steffen KThis hotel ranks much better than most places outside Lagos and Abuja because they understand more what foreign business travellers require. It's clean, quiet and everything works. When a light bulb failed a loose connection to the air conditioning occurred, an electrician emerged in minutes and sorted it out. Staff are friendly and the buffet breakfast is ample but caters very much more to Nigerian tastes, so don't expect a choice of cereals or yoghurt or liquid milk. Bare in mind that some food can be rather oily and Nigerians love chillies in everything, but they call them peppers! Rooms start at Naira13000 (U$1.00=N360)

Reviewed By AbimbolatofVery nice and comfortable place to lodge. Well trained front desk officers and very neat room. Delicious cuisine too. Travel budget friendly and its located in a well secured area. The room is clean, well arranged and properly maintained.

Crashed in
Reviewed By Titus LArrived at Jos late in the night and couldn't continue with my journey, so I decided to stay in this hotel. Don't come with expectation because it has lost touch with modernity, I appreciate that it's an old structure, they have also done well by painting the walls. But if all you need is a bed for the night, then it's not a bad idea.

My horrible experience
Reviewed By auwaloneBeen sat here, for over 2 hours waiting for staff to come in with an insecticide , cockcroach on the ceiling since I came in to this room. The rooms right ? they seem neat, they seem clean but the beddings the curtains they're all dusty, The staff are rude and unprofessional all of them expecially one stout dark little man in the restaurant. Guards don't know any courtesy and they have one of those round sockets all over the rooms, like why do I move from my house with an adapter or UPS we need points to plug our chargers laptops please someone tellem. I was here 2 years ago , it wasn't like this never coming back again but if you don't care about interacting with staff ,then you will love the rooms you just need to bring something to dust the rooms yourself. P.S Iam still waiting for the staff (note to self next time check reviews on TripAdvisor when you're recommended hotels you forgot why you don't know anymore) Sharna!!!! you just have to experience it to understand

Nice and quiet
Reviewed By 641austintStaff at reception were cordial and respectful. Manager was approachable and friendly. Room was clean and tidy. Clean sheets! iI had a good night sleep as the mattress was comfortable. Room decoration was average but for the price it was expected. No internet as advertised but staff were at hand to go buy me some data from the shops. Hotel is located close to shops and the main road so easy to locate. Environment was warm, nice and relaxing.. I enjoyed my stay and will recommend to anyone looking for a clean nice hotel to stay with reasonable price.

Good Food for Western Tastes
Reviewed By LakePanoramaA nice selection of food, especially for Western tastes. Reasonably priced, comfortable facility. Their adjacent bakery has some great desserts, too. Don't be in a hurry, as it takes a while to receive your food. I was on a lunch break, and had to make efficient use of the time in order to not be late returning to work.

Reviewed By Raymond UI stayed in Gordon House Hotel, Jos for two nights - February 11 - 12, 2017. I discovered that everything has changed from my first experience in 2007 when I first lodged there. The rooms and facilities appear very old. The rug carpets I saw in 2007 are still there. I had expected some innovations like changing the rugs with floor tiles etc. However, there is regular power supply in the Hotel. There is security too.
