Excellent hotel to stay along the Way of Saint Francis
Reviewed By Ecologico_ToursAfter walking along the Way of Saint Francis we stayed in Hotel Santo Stefano. The room was spacious, clean and had a good bed (very important after walking). In the evening we had dinner in the restaurant and eat a delicious Carpaccio of courgette, pinenut, and Parigian cheese and a great steak with a good glass of wine. Can recommend the hotel and restaurant. They have also a pilgrim's room for who want to spend some less.

Fab Italian experience!
Reviewed By Claire JWe had a fab Sunday afternoon at Il Capannino, located on a hill overlooking beautiful views we received a warm welcome from Joe. There was no rush, we had four courses cooked fresh to order off menu - like having our own personal chef!, prosecco, wine and a lot of laughter! The atmosphere felt as though we'd had an authentic Italian experience, we were 'off the beaten track' with no commercialism in sight. The restaurant decor was quirky and original with many personal touches which added to the experience. Thank you Joe, it was a wonderful afternoon and I would definitely return! :)

Friendly but dated and disgusting food
Reviewed By Zaira GRather than a hotel I'd say this place is a motel. You are welcomed by friendly staff. The rooms are really old, the beds very uncomfortable (paper-thin mattresses) and the rooms on the rear side can be quite noisy. It's ok to stop overnight if you're tired of travelling but it's definitely not a hotel you'd go to on holiday! We had breakfast and dinner included in our package - thank heavens there is an "autogrill" inside so you can buy sandwiches and chocolate because the food at the restaurant is really disgusting. I'd ordered chicken which not only was dry and overcooked, but it smelt awful! The only other meat on the menu was a hamburger patty!! For breakfast we just had coffee - too afraid to eat anything!

Reviewed By Tom DThis place was Amazing. A relaxed and quiet place with great facilities. In the middle of the Hills and beautiful nature. The hosts were amazing, super friendly and full of great advice. The restaurant is also one of the best in the region and a must-go. I greatly advice you to go.

Reviewed By lucc2016arrivati alle 17 circa ci accoglie la vicina di casa , l,appartamento è situato in una vecchia torre , e infatti è tutto vecchio ,logoro e sporco . la stanza grossa ma polvere ovunque ,letti con reti e materassi sfondati e coperte del 1800 ,lenzuola vari colori e federe strappate . 2 stanze con bagno in comune , senza doccia con vasca ma senza tenda ,quindi acqua da tutte le parti . In tutta la casa la pulizia nn è granché, ragnatele e polvere da tutte le parti . Colazione ,lasciamo stare , caffe fatto nella moka e roba confezionata.
