I have visited Cha-am on no less then three occasion during 2018 and a large part of my desire to return each time is attributed to The Lounge. I use it as my âbase campâ eating most of my meals ( both Thia and English food served) drinks in the evening and a meeting point with my friends before a day out. The staff are funny and engaging and I find nothing is to much trouble and Iâm certainly not known for being an easy customer! The food is consistent and to a good standard and there is a vast drinks selection both hot and cold. If your staying for any length of time and have specific requirements the owners David and Nat will do their upmost to accommodate you and have done so for me on many occasions. Theyâve accommodated myself and my companions and even catered for a small party I held in the venue. The pork ribs were to die for! Simply put, you wonât be disappointed.

Check this place out for pizza in Cha Am. On the back road from beach and easy to find. Tried a bacon pizza with extra peppers, was very nice and at 240 baht the price is good for what you get. Nice taste, plenty of cheese but I would have preferred the base to be a little more crispier. However nice all the same and would go back. Wonderful friendly staff there and the owner with his wife make you feel more than welcome. Recommended.

A pleasant-looking place from the outside, a surprize awaits the fist-time diner here. On entereing, you are confronted with an alaming number of clocks and timepieces.The staff are courteous, and the menu relatively extensive. The beer is cheap, so you can enjoy a drink and talk about the decor whilst waiting for your meal. Adequate portions, presented nicely. Only off-putting thinf is the pack of (not very nice) dogs which hang round across the road during opening hours. Be warned, they have bitten people! Apart from that, a decent meal experience.

Every time we are in Cha Am, we make it a point to eat at this restaurant which is probably the best in the area. They have a large menu of Thai and western food. The decor is very nice and refined. Our favourite dishes are the snow fish and fish and chips. I also tried their angus burger which was excellent. For sweets, I recommend the lava cake and the caramel custard. The service is pleasant and efficient. Prices are very reasonable considering the quality of the food served.Dear BangkokCaThank you for your rate and comment. 5 Star food, location and a great place to relax. Its true. The food is truly excellent and you are missing a real treat, if you do not eat at the Sailing Club. The staff are very helpful but when you are sitting under the tree, with a cooling sea breeze, looking out over the sea with the sailing boats dashing here and there, it really is hard to imagine a better place to relax, even if you don't sail. It tried many of the dishes but the cashew nuts with chicken was the best I have ever tasted in Thailand.You can't ask for a better review. Thanks Paul. I'll pass on your kind words to the chef.

One of several restaurants on this stretch of road. A week before the Thai elections and they were supposed to have a one day alcohol ban,didnt seem to apply here ! so we obliged and had one along with a thai meal and a pizza. So great to go somewhere and find it is actually as good as everyone says :-) We had the rocket, parmesan cheese and tomato salad to share, lovely homemade garlic oil and balsamic brought out to dress. All the ingredients were fresh and lovely. We shared a Caprioscca Pizza and added mushrooms and had half without Anchovies. They were very obliging and the changes were no hassle at all. It was absolutely delish and you could taste the quality in the Mozarella and Dough. We were not going to have dessert but our lovely waitress talked about the Chocolate Lava cake and Raspberry Crumble in such glowing terms that we couldn't say no! Well they didn't disappoint , absolutely yummy. Doesn't look much from the outside but this restaurant is "A" class.

First and foremost this restaurant is actually in Cha Am, and NOT Hua Hin. That's a good thing, for us.Second, the staff are impeccable. They are friendly, courteous and efficient. They apply their skills as if they were trained in Europe. I don't want to put down the level of service you normally get in Thailand but most of the time you are made to feel guilty for even being in a restaurant and you get treated with something approaching contempt. Not at DiDiNE. Here you feel welcome. Well done staff!Third, the ambience. A spacious outdoor area with comfortable dining furniture and lots of fans make outdoor dining pleasant.Finally, the food and drink.The drink list is great and my wife reckons her Pina Colada was by far the best she has had in Thailand. She particularly liked the use of coconut milk in her cocktail, as well as the generous amount of rum.The entrees and mains we're exquisite and very affordable.For 1090 baht we have pate entree, three seafood mains, two serves of rice, two large beers and one cocktail.
