The food is not expensive staff are friendly , we had great memories stay 2 nights they have activities boat tour by local longtail boat to James bond island .

Weekend fun run
Reviewed By oorp2017Away with kids, friends and their kids for the weekend to a fun run event. However this resort is basic with bungalow as in the surrounded area on a nice location just few meter away from the beach. Basic is good if you’re ok with totally enjoying the simple lifestyle to see the local and its surroundings then this is a nice to stay and really just enjoy yourself. Around the corner there were plenty enough with Restaurants for dinner time but I do recommend to stop by at convenient stores before heading there to get few drinks and snacks for your evening enjoyment. The room is big enough for a family of 3 as if more would be too cramp. It’s mad a nice queen size bed, clean, a fridge, fresh towels and hot water shower and some bungalows even have bathtub. Thai Muang beach just around the corner from the resort is so beautiful. Highly recommend this place a nice quiet stay in phangna.

Wonderful place
Reviewed By junya_and_gangsWonderful stay in this cozy small and neat new hotel, their service mind made us feel at home. The breakfast are delicious with enough choices plus extra of local foods. The restaurant served a very delicious foods, no wonder that they get the Michelin star for that. The room is very clean, they use the extra King size bed, the mattress, pillows and duvet made us sleep like a baby. The owner cook the food herself and greeting the guests as if we are their family. They deserved the design award as well as Michelin star on their restaurant. Really recommend this hotel.

Nice resort but pity about the owner
Reviewed By davidblewett2016This is a nice resort but the owner blows hot and cold. Some days he is very friendly but on other occasions he can be very rude. We have stayed for two consecutive years but because of the owners attitude we will not return. He is simply not in the right job.

Cliff Hanging Resort with Great Mountain Views
Reviewed By Dao1949This resort is situated on a very steep mountainside and even the driveway to the hotel lobby is very challenging! From this point they use their own cars to take you up to your room. The room is somewhat old but very spacious and has a wonderful balcony with chairs. The views of the mountain range and the city below are breathtaking! The bathroom is spacious too but very basic amenities. Breakfast was ok but nothing fancy.

Lovely Hotel in a Gem Location
Reviewed By OlgaMeloWe spent a little over 3 weeks in Thailand and stayed in a total of 4 Hotels, The Sunset beach Resort was the first (from 27th Dec’19 to 02nd Jan’20), The Sands Khao Lak before our Liveaboard at the Similan Islands was the 2nd. The 3rd Hotel was Le Méridien Khao Lak Resort & Spa. After this we spent 4 days in a Bungalow at the Amazing Surin Islands. Our last Hotel was The Haven Khao Lak (Adults only). I will post reviews separately for each Hotel. We booked the Sunset Beach Resort as we were looking for a holiday with just the sun, sand and sea, away from the mad crowds and the Hotel was absolutely perfect for it. The beach is not crystal clear and blue like the Maldives but we loved the long and picturesque beaches. We stayed at the Sunset Pool View Villa and it was absolutely beautiful, modern and clean. I’ve never stayed in such a huge Villa. The bed was super comfortable and we could not get out of it. Better than the Villas in our 3 previous Maldivian Holidays. The food at the Sunset Beach resort was delicious and reasonably priced. During our 3 week Holiday in Thailand we ate at several restaurants, experienced 4 Hotels and have to say the food at The Sunset Beach Resort were consistently delicious, the portion sizes were very generous. The menu is huge and varied. The drinks and cocktails were also very delicious, much better than the drinks at the 5* Le Meridian. The breakfast wasn’t huge but it was nonetheless delicious. Note, of the 4 Hotels we stayed in, The Sunset was the only place we had mangos. We read some reviews of guests complaining about Chinese tourists and were very concerned. I’m pleased to report that they spent most of the day sightseeing and came back late in the afternoon for the sunset. They also had dinner very early and we never had any problems. Getting to the island is very easy. From Phuket International Airport we booked a service called Cheaper than Hotels, Based in Khao Lak (check their Facebook account) and paid 1400 BHT to be dropped off at the pier (They we amazing). You then have to pay for the long tail boat and get a from the pier to the Hotel. On our way back we booked our transfer to Khao Lak from the Hotel and it was better as the Hotel organises the Taxi to the Pier and instead of a long tail boat you are transferred to the pier in a more stable and comfortable boat.

Green home is an idea of natural and ecology living with a very thoughtful of saving environment living style. we used and decorated nearly everything in house with bamboo which Eco minded system of the owner and staffs.

Reviewed By KitCath_NVäldigt hemtrevligt boende med supergullig personal som lagade frukost åt en om mornarna (frukt, ägg, te/kaffe och rostbröd). En fick låna cyklar gratis om de inte var uthyrda och det fanns en skön hängmatta i skuggan på framsidan. Boendet var rent och tyst och det var gott om ställen att äta på i närheten. Lite smålångt till stranden kanske men på cykel gick det snabbt! :) Väldigt prisvärt också ska tilläggas.
