Le Retro c'est la France disparu...The cuisine delicious, the open wine was not, and the whole place was somehow like la France profonde with a touch of neighbourhood. We had a nice evening there with a friend just arrived from Germany, and she was really impressed of the quality. All food was homemade, the small countryside city so authentic.

Le Tiki

We found this restaurant on Trip Advisor when staying in the area. So glad that we did as we would never have stumbled across it. As we pulled into the carpar we thought we were in the local tennis club!
The setting was actually lovely, very relaxed like a beer garden, It wasn't really ideal for a romantic dinner for two as there were lots of young children running around, but the atmosphere was very relaxed and the service good.
The food was good, with a good choice on the menu and very reasonably priced. Would definitey recommend for a family visit or a group of friends.

Restaurant Et Traiteur Gastronomique

Reviewed By AmershamMan - London England

The restaurant was recommended in the house book where we were staying and it is mentioned in the rough guide. We ate on a Monday night, which is a quiet day in Pertuis and we were the only ones in the restaurant. I chose the menu gourmande. My companions ate from the a la carte. I think I came off worse. None of the dishes worked that well and the lamb main course was tough and inedible. My companions described their food as OK but nothing special. Our hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful but the food is not good

Ate there this evening and was not impressed. The service was lovely and the food was all right but nothing special. We had what sounded like it was going to be duck with mushrooms and turned out to be duck and chips. Nicely presented and the small amount of sauce that came with in was delicious but just not worthy of such high reviews on here. The dessert we chose, was three tiny desserts with coffee and was very nice and again well presented.

Le Moulin de Caro

We went to the Moulin for lunch after supermarket shopping in Pertuis on the strength of other Tripadvisor reviews. Outside is a traditional, slightly unpromising building on a busy corner of a main road, inside is a pleasant, contemporary little wine bar and restaurant. It was filled with local business people enjoying the 3 course prix fixé menu. Staff were friendly and pleasant. We had very tasty starter of roquette salad with a pistou and aubergine tartine topped with Bayonne ham, a pork tagine with couscous for main and fresh pineapple and ice cream for pud. That, plus two coffees and three excellent glasses of wine from good local vineyards, came to 41 euros for the two of us. We will definitely try it one evening to check out the evening menu and ambience.

L'ange Gourmand

Reviewed By Shepley - Yorkshire UK

One of only a few places open on a Monday lunchtime this place does a set menu at a set price - a choice of 2 starters, 2 mains and several desserts.

My wife had the goats cheese tart and I had the charcuterie to start followed by a choice of andouillette (no thanks) or pork in a mushroom sauce which came with a choice of frites, pasta or vegetables. Both dishes were simple but very tasty. Pannacotta and raspberry crumble completed the meal.
The cost? A massive 12 euros each which made it excellent value for money. This place isn't about to win any awards for invention but I'd have no hesitation in returning.
The location on a busy road with the outdoor tables across the street with the waiter dodging the traffic as he brings your food might be a bit off putting but it's worth it if you're hungry and want something good, cheap and filling.

La Criee a Pertuis

I do not understand the negative reviews. This is a chain of seafood restaurants out of Paris. The decor is very nautical and the food was delicious. I had the calamari starter and my friend had the salmon tartar on avocado. Both were delicious. We both ordered the scallops with roasted tomatoes and zucchini and not only did we eat every bite, but my friend soaked up the sauce with her bread. AND it is air conditioned. Ahhh. Highly recommend.
