If you want to eat innovative fresh local food, this restaurant is the perfect address. It is of course a very rich meal you get, but good taste is provided through butter, thats a fact. Absolutely perfect dishes from starter to desert, veety good. Fresh vegetable, fresh fish, fresh meet and beer, all is local, just perfect. Esting in Örnsköldsvik? Linnes & Peter. Great little Italian Restaurant in a small Swedish hockey town. Ornskoldsvik in central Sweden is the Heart of Hockey. Peter Forsberg and Markus Näslund started off the great success in the 1990’s and were followed by many others. Twin brothers Henrik and Daniel Sedin are the current stars in the NHL who got their start in the local Swedish club MODO hockey.
This Italian restaurant is not so typical as you will find hockey jerseys and memorabilia throughout the restaurant. The food and atmosphere is great. The pizza's differ from what we are used to in Canada but still delicious. I would go back.

We had planned to eat at Mamma Mia, but the restaurant was booked by a group
and not open for the general public the evening we were in Ornskoldsvik.
Therefore, we opted to eat at Il Padrino, which is considered to be one of
the best pizza places by the locals. The restaurant appeared to be quite
popular the evening we were there.
I had a Panza (ham and shrims), which was not bad. It cost 110 SEK (approx.
12 euros), which is quite much compared to the prices in Umeå. The best
pizzerias in Umeå offer more tasty pizzas and they are also cheaper. My wife
was disappointed with her and we both agreed that the pizzas in Umeå are more delicious. Besides pizza, the restaurant also offers pasta.

I had almost given up of getting some decent food a Sunday evening. Both Bishop Arms and MammaMia had lousy service with sighing slow waitresses. Trattoria Nevia was 40 minutes from closing the kitchen - but no problem to get a table and a dry...MoreMille grazie !!!

I have been to the buffet they serve at the easter holiday many times with my whole family. The buffet have everything you can imagine in a Swedish easter buffet. I don't even think that it was that expensive either!
I would recommend to book your table a few weeks before if you plan to visit the restaurant during big holidays.

We came here for coffee and Sandwich a Monday afternoon. Nice welcome, spacious and rather cosy with a fireplace, magazines and a great balcony overviewing the great ski slope. They have pastry, salads and their specialty "pepper sandwiches", round wheat bread with spicy grounded meat and different extras. Nice place, we will be back.

I go here a lot. Good food and pastries, most of it (all of it?) made in the cafe. Nicely decorated and feels genuine. Highly recommended.

Äter ofta deras boxar med Thaimat. Älskar nr.13 med röd curry o kyckling o med nudlar. Bra o lämpligt stor portion också. Trevlig personal som alltid.
