We made a reservation on Wednesday for a Friday night dinner. We had quite a large group of 15 celebrating a friends birthday. We booked out the private room in the back. At first you could see the waitress was overwhelmed but she managed to get all of our orders. She came back after about 10 min and told us that the house had ran out of sushi rice and we couldn't order any of our rolls. This was very disappointing since we had made a reservation and it was a Friday night, the restaurant should have been prepared. The manager came over and offered us some appetizers on the house. This effort was greatly appreciated but still did not make up for the fact that a sushi restaurant was not able to provide sushi rolls. Through out the night it was chaos, none of the plates were cleared so they just piled up in the middle of the table. Every drink order was either wrong or never arrived. Oh and also they ran out of beer. When the bills came they were also all wrong, even though we asked for separate bills at the start of the evening. The server did all she could but was very unorganized. I will defiantly not be back and I can probably say the same for the other 14 guests.

We stopped in this past weekend and had an incredible experience. The bartender was so knowledgeable and had my husband and I trying a variety of oysters. He even recommended several other restaurants we should try while on our vacation. We were impressed and had a great experience here! Highly recommend!

Joso's is an eclectic spot with unique (and often erotic) art adorning the walls of the cozy, two storey building. You come here for the fish and a platter is paraded to your table showing what is on offer. Most of the selections are from the Mediterranean and are prepared just one way - grilled and lightly oiled and salted. We found the fish most flavourful and the staff extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Prices are on the high side and the building is starting to show its age.

We picked it based on the rave reviews. The service was average, the interior is far prettier than the average fish and chips. The Greek salad was fresh but lacked flavour. I wasn’t in love with the food... the fries weren’t crispy or pillowy. They were dry and lackluster. The onion rings were so thick cut they were overly filling. The fish was nice but the batter wasn’t my favourite. Loads of babies and families on a Sunday morning. Restaurant was very busy early in the day.

My husband loves oysters so we decided to try this place out. The PEI savage oysters were amazing and one we had never tried before. The house made cocktail sauce was also great. For entrees we got fish tacos and steam clams. Both dishes were great. Service was top notch. Highly recommend. And if there’s a wait, check out the cocktail bar next door!

The waiter was not very accommodating in regards to dietary requests. Also, although its good, its too expensive for what you get. Not good value.
