Amazing views of the lake
Reviewed By L0ckNL0adThe villa megdani was an awesome place to stay. The rooms were clean, and i had the most amazing view of the lake. The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful. A couple of things to keep in mind, this isn't a 24 hour concierge service kind of place, there's no restaurant attached to the hotel or even within walking distance. The rooms did not have air conditioning, but were cool in the summer evenings with the balcony door opened. Taxis are cheap to get downtown. There was a shared kitchenette in the hallway with some pots and pans and plates and utensils. The rooms have a small fridge.

Surprised by space!
Reviewed By ross_nguyenI travelled with my wife and 2yo child as well we her sister family (2A+2C) We booked out both apartments (1bed and 2bed) and pleasantly surprised with how much room there is. Both had their own full size kitchen and lounge that would be suitable for living back in Sydney city, as well as laundry in each bathroom. Private roof top balcony with views of the lake. Located centrally but being tucked 1 street behind the main strip meant we didn’t hear any noise from street level. The owner was great, gave us our own parking spot with no charge. Would definitely recommend and come back to in future.

A Peaceful Retreat
Reviewed By EniddinerA wonderful place to stay if you want somewhere economical to relax in beautiful surroundings away from the crowds.In fact the location of these rooms is ideal as they are within very close walking distance of all the major sites and yet far enough from the road and city centre so that you can avoid noise.The views from the garden are spectacular.The hosts are very friendly and welcoming,they are on hand to help with anything you need and can prepare a delicious breakfast on request.Good facilities in the room which was well-heated and clean.Excellent value for money.

Reviewed By Niho49We spent two nights in this hotel in Ohrid. The staff was kind. Breakfast was mainly ok and rooms clean. The hotel has a very good location not far away from the lake and close to the centre. The service at the reception when we were leaving was a bit slow, we spent half an hour resolving checking out and paying. Not bad, all in all.

Great location and reasonable price
Reviewed By kisdeszkThe apartments are in a two story building just next to the lake. The apartment is pretty spacey, clean and comfortable with a kitchen and a big terrace with a beautiful view. We got a free parking card from the owner of the apartment, but be ready that in summer it could be hard to find a free parking place in the whole street. There is an Irish Pub just under the apartment, so it could be sometimes a bit noisy, but use ear plugs :). We had some troubles with wifi router on first day, but after restarting everything was ok. The city center is in about 15 minutes walking distance. I recommend the great small Kaneo beach just beneath the iconic monastery.

Reviewed By chiarap111Purtroppo non posso lasciare una recensione accurata del posto in quanto non ci abbiamo mai messo piede! Ho prenotato una notte nella struttura tramite booking. Com con circa un mese di anticipo e la sera prima del nostro arrivo ho avvisato riguardo l'orario di arrivo del bus per il check in. La risposta è stata ok. Il giorno seguente appena entrati a Ohrid il pullman su cui viaggiavamo è stato fermato da un signore che ci ha fatto scendere e si è presentato con "city center apartments". Ha iniziato ad accompagnarci verso il centro e solo dopo diversi minuti in un inglese confuso e traballante ci ha fatto capire di essere amico del proprietario di city center apartments e ci ha spiegato che avremo dormito nel suo appartamento. Quando sbigottiti e un po' incerti abbiamo chiesto maggiori spiegazioni mi ha passato il proprietario al telefono che ha liquidato il problema spiegando che alcuni ospiti arrivati il giorno prima avevano avuto "AN accident" e che il nostro appartamento era occupato. Non avendo altra scelta né tempo per contestare abbiamo passato la notte nell appartamento del signore, pari a quello prenotato a livello di servizi, e pagato lui senza ricevuta ne un contatto in caso di bisogno. Siamo persone flessibili che si adattano a tutto ma avremo gradito almeno essere avvisati per tempo - la questione è stata gestita in pessima maniera!!

Apartament na starym mieście - ciężko znależć i zaparkować

Właścicielka kazała nam szukać sobie wolnego miejsca w okolicy co na starym mieście i wąskich uliczkach jest niemożliwe. Można zaparkować za opłatą przed bramą wjazdową na stare miasto jak są wolne miejsca i zafundować sobie spacer wąskimi i stromymi uliczkami z bagażem - nie polecam. Finalnie z tego powodu nie skorzystaliśmy z noclegu, a kody do otwarcia apartamentu przyszły 2 dni po pobycie a nie przed przybyciem. Apartament ciężko znaleźć - google maps nie daje rady. Właścicielki nie było na miejscu aby pomóc znaleźć apartament i parking. Aby wyjechać ze starego miasta przy porcie potrzebna jest kart więc czeka was zawracanie na wąskich uliczkach i wyjazd przy bramie na wzgórzu. Dla podróżnych bez auta lokalizacja dobra - w sercu starego miasta, ale w sezonie strasznie głośno i tłoczno.
9. Paradise Nest
Living in a town like Ohrid made us to took this mountain place just to escape from the crowd and traffic noise and enjoy our weekends with family. First we built a small house but after a few years we decided to make it bigger with more rooms. Paradise Nest has two rooms with private bath in each room. The two bedrooms consist of queen size beds with extra sleeping space available in the lounge area of the house. Double room has one queen size bed, and the triple room has one queen size bed and one mezzanine which is not for kids less of 5 years. Paradise Nest has a large living room with kitchen and dining room so you share it with another guests also Paradise Nest has outside kitchen with Lake view . You can choose if you want to prepare food by yourself, or by the hosts for a lower price, Breakfast is 5€ per person, Lunch is 9€ per person and dinner is 9€ per person. *The food prepared by the hosts is traditional Macedonian food. *
