We were wandering Christmas Eve looking for an open restaurant and came across L'Echalote. What an excellent choice. All 5 of us enjoyed a wonderful meal and excellent service. This is the only good restaurant at Secrets Huatulco. The manager was very helpful. He went out of his way to make sure we were having a good dinner. The Moules a la provencale (filled mussels) were very good and the Margret de canard Ruti (duck entree) was excellent. The Frog legs were not so good. My wife's apple salad was a desconstructed modern salad with good flavor. My wife's Filet de saumon (salmon) was tasty but undercooked.

Had a nice lunch here, we dined in the air conditioned portion of the restaurant. Food was good, however they butchered a margarita, have no idea what it was, but it was surely not a margarita. Would try it again, but perhaps not a lunch time.Thank you very much for you review, looking forward on serving you again for dinner.
