They do have a very good clear sign and we went to ask for prices, etc. There is an air conditioned boutique that acts as the office as well at the front. A cleaning lady saw us and asked us to wait. We could hear a woman talking with a man and laughing, I clearly heard the woman said word "gigolo" among the giggles...so I felt that was not a place for us. The waiting was getting ridiculous and I was ready to walk out to look for another place but my husband asked me to be patient and wait. It was very hot outside. I thought it was unprofessional to make us wait that long while talking about what was clearly not business in the other side of an opened door where I could see some steps up. Finally a blonde woman came and we found out prices, parking etc. We were shown a ground level room which felt cool upon entering by a nice lady who worked there cleaning, with mirrors all over, clean, modern looking, no fridge was a minus for me since we were in the hottest days of our trip and having a small fridge was great for keeping cold water and many times I had it frozen to keep cold water in the car. I saw an air conditioner remote control and a fan, so I presumed there was air conditioner. There was not and that was clear after we paid, made use of the room and came back from sightseeing after supper. OK, we said we would use the fan. But it was not sufficient since the sun hit the exterior front wall of the room and the door. It was hot inside there! We both are not used nor do we enjoy hot weather. My husband gets particularly uncomfortable to the point of feeling sick when it is too hot -for him- What I did was to cut off the sleeves out of one of my blouses and I soaked them in water to cool down our arms and legs with the fan air blowing towards us. I had a water bottle filled with tap water for that purpose. And after a few hours of wetting our arms, feet and legs this way over and over he started to feel better and felt asleep. At one point I got up and stepped under the shower with my nightgown to cool down again. Next morning we packed and we went for breakfast and to find another place. By checkout time we just left, I believe there were 200 Forint at the front desk since we planned to stay there 2 days but we didn't even wasted time with that. It is less than one Canadian dollar. The one lady who saw us packing asked how was the night and my husband -who speaks fluent Hungarian- explained to her our problem. She said we should have gone to the office to report the problem. When we came back at night we did not see light in the boutique-office so we thought there was nobody to talk to late at night. The parking stalls are very tight on the other side of a gate but we managed to park well. We saw several golf carts also in that patio and some guests we seemed to use them. We never asked information about them

The Sarkany Apartment and Camp Site is close to the Spa and the Outdoor Bath and it is an ideal place for relaxation in nature. 16 well-equipped, newly built apartments and 20 parking places for caravans with electric terminals, places for tents, playground, and – similarly to the environment – pleasant prices are waiting for our guests.

Reviewed By 637vic73We discover last year this SPA when we look for anouther place in nearby (Nyirehaza SPA). So this is not so big like other SPA from Hungary (Hajdu, Gyula, etc) but it have almost same pools, thermal watter , slides, place with food, etc. There are indoor and outdoor pools is not too many people and there are sunbeds and trees for shadow. If you decide to spend 2 days you can stay inside in small houses or there are few pensions in city, Also in the city there is a beautifull street between 2 churches and also centrum and a lake for walk. For dinner we recomand "HARDY CSARDA" restaurant with o very good cooked and tasty food (we try other two places but we don"t like). So you can try it...

A difficult job travel
Reviewed By ApeX92I was in Nyirbator for job and had to spend a night in the Palma hotel. I arrived by car to Nyirbator and I tried to call the reception to ask for a parking. No one in the hotel was speaking English. I finally find a park talking with gestures (fortunately I am Italian). The hotel room was very old and the cleaning standard very poor. No soaps were present in the bath (only very small courtesy kit). The breakfast was unbelievable, only 3 choices: egg, sausage and cheese).

Nice relaxing place
Reviewed By Ladislau PA really nice place to spend your time. Even though we did not try out the thermal bath, i.e. the Dragon Welness & Spa, we can say that if you want to spend time there, the Bator Park Panzio is a very nice accommodation close to the premises where you can rest after a nice day of wellness and/or spa. Historical places and beautiful churches are also in a hand-reach.

Reviewed By Vendég SSmall hotel does not let room out to drop-in travellers, they are turned down. Room has to be booked on the internet in advance. Also at restaurant no waiter to sit customers down and serve lunch, had to dine elsewhere.

Our hotel is located in the heart of the historic town NNYIRBATOR , not far from the town center. Hotel works in family business for 20 years and has became a lovely wellness hotel because of innovations.We have high quality rooms with 1-2-3-4 beds & we have an apartment with more bedrooms for larger family or company.Facilities in every room: bathroom cable TVsafe and smoke alarmair condition (for extra price) Free services: parking, Wi--Fi

Reviewed By hanz vIts in a small town close to the rumanian border. the breakfast is well take care of. I had a room without airconditioning that was a pitty because it was very hot. The bed was not nice. But I got in a different room the next day that was OK . With airco and a better bed. There is Wifi and working. The town is boring .I was here for work and there is no much choice here.
