It is the regional centre of the Northern Great Plain region and the seat of Hajdú-Bihar county. It was the largest Hungarian city in the 18th century and it is one of the Hungarian people's most important cultural centres. Debrecen was also the capital city of Hungary during the revolution in 1848–1849. During the revolution, the dethronement of the Habsburg dynasty was declared in the Reformed Great Church. The city also served as the capital of Hungary by the end of the World War II in 1944–1945. It is home of the University of Debrecen.

Can't write anything good. Service is umm how should I put it, one of a kind.. There are people smoking right next to you. The food is of low quality, no flavor. Pizza was acceptable, but nothing memorable. Also the place didn't seem clean. Once was more than enough.

I have eaten here four times whilst staying in Debrecen. The food is really great and very reasonably priced.They do everything from salad to red wine beef stew and it all tastes amazing.They also do all drinks from coffee,soft drinks and beers.I would recommend the place to all... The locals eat here and when it is busy wait for a table....so it must be good.

Me and my girlfriend visited this place for some dinner and it was great. The zero burger I had was real good and my girlfriend liked her camembert-burger as well. Superfast service and amazing dipping sauce. We left full and happy. We payed about 5500 Ft for the food and a beer each.

We came here with my Italian colleague. From the very beginning it was clear that staff didn't understand English. We managed to order food despite couple of hassles during the process. Waiter didn't have a clue how to pour beer from the bottle into glass but that is ok, despite the beer foamed from the bottle on the table. But when food started to come it was surprisingly good and tasty even from my Italian friends standards - so that means a lot. Deserts were absolutely great, especially the Tiramisu cake. Not the last time in this place.

The chef is the most friendly one i have known. He personally deliver the food with a smile and start the conversation naturally. His place is kinda hidden in a student dorm which was a pity. I personally enjoy the seafood pasta the best. The food does not taste salty and the value for the portion is also good.

I visited this place while I was staying in Debrecen for short them. They had great panini and toasts with different types of options that you can add to; I really enjoyed their food and coffee. Its atmosphere is more or less like cafeteria in university. However, I personally think that their foods are a bit overpriced considering it's just a regular toast and it's located within the university campus. I can easily order or dine out with similar/higher quality of foods but larger in quantity wise and would still pay the same or less.

Iâve been coming to Debrecen for some years but this is my 1st time to the restaurant. I had shiitake mushroom soup to start and Sea food spaghetti as main. The food was excellent and well presented. The service friendly and attentive. Now Iâve found it I will definitely be back.

Relaxed mediterranean-like small resto w lots of nice pictures all around and stereotypical music having a classic italian style ambience. You gotta have your meal upstairs, and if the waiting time is too long they get you pizza pane w olive oil(nice gesture) . Very relaxed, very casual. Only downside is the drinks (lack of good quality and/or italian drinks). All in all I most certanly recommend it!

All i can say is delicious food, very reasonable and great staff. A varied menu from pizzas, pasta to meat etc. The place is quite small but cosy so if you really want to eat there, try and make a reservation especially on a weekend.Dear Julie!
