Checked out the Andante Restaurant in Szolnok on a recent business trip. It is decent with good service and hot food. My "creamy" mushroom soup with dill meat balls was more watery and were than expected but nicely seasoned. No field mushrooms unfortunately. The dill meatballs - two small ones - were made of some meat, possibly chicken but it was hard to tell to be honest. They were a tad rubbery

Heaven bisztró a buszallomasnál lévÅ bevásárló center tetején. Maga a hely szép. Kellemes kilátással. Ha nem esett volna az esÅ, akkor kint ültünk volna. Ãgy bent. A hely odamész és rendelsz stÃlusú. Sok féle étel. Nem rossz kÃnálat. Mi az elvileg kézműves burgert választottuk páros menüben. Ãs juicy Lucy burgereket kértünk. Nem. Ezek se nem kézműves se nem juicy Lucy nem volt. Közelében sem volt. Azt nem mondom, hogy ehetetlen volt, de sima utca széli ócsó burgeresnek felel meg. Viszont nagy az adag. Ãs az voltaképpen ehetÅ. A többi étel sem csúcsminÅségű, de ehetÅnek tűnik. Ha éhes vagy akkor ez azért nem rossz hely. :)

Régen ez egy szuper hely volt. Ma már csak egy átlagos étterem olyan menüsorral, aminek a felét nem tudod kiválasztani, mert nincs a konyhán az alapanyagból. Ami van, az is erÅs közepes, nem pisilsz be a gyömyörtÅl. A környezet még mindig hangulatos. A gárda teljesen kiégett az elmúlt évek alatt. Sajnáljuk, mert sokszor jártunk ide, ma már csak akkor, ha nincs más...de általában van.

Don't miss this restaurant as the outside doesn't really invite you in as the building looks formal. In the double doors under the sign and the basement opens up after you have been through the 'craft beer' museum. A warm welcome, cozy atmosphere with great beers and hearty / generous portions delivered hot and with a smile.

The best rastaurant in town. It has average prices, but wide range of dishes of hungarian cuisine.The quality of the services and dishes is satosfactory. I would recommend it to families or business dinners.

Close to the downtown of Szolnok, accessible, easy to find, is a quiet and clean place where you find international food but Hungarian food and wines.Nice people and good food.

The overall impression when entering this place is as being in a mid-leveled pub, maybe typical, but nothing better. After having booked our food we waited a long time, really too much, thus endorsing our unfavourable initial impression.But then the food was delicious (I had pork with Czarda sauce = a super-tender shank of pork sauced with bechamelle with onions and flavours), so was the bier (my friends said) and the red wine I had, named Portuguieser and really well tuned. By the way, this wine has the special characteristic of a very low content of tannine...

I'm very often in Szolnok, every time my wife visits her family there. I went to this restaurant for many times and many years.Well, in the last year i noticed that they use different prices for hungarians and foreigners, because in the english and german menu list its written that they apply a 10% service charge, and in the hungarian menu list its wirtten that the service charge is applied only fpr table of 6 or more or if you pay with card....I went there alone, and ovviously they charged me the 10% service charge (only exposed in the non regular receipt!!), and the waiter even tried to get another tip by presenting me the regular receipt.....!!!!!!! I told him that he already had charged it, and he run away without any words....Last week i went there with my wife and daugther....and they wanted to charge me the 10% service charge, although we told we want to pay in cash...My wife asked the waiter for explanation, but he replied that "they use to apply the 10% service charge in case of foreign guests".....incredible!!!!My wife told him that she wanted to pay in cash, as a hungarian citizien....and guess what....miracle....no service charge applied....unbelivable!!!!That's really disappointing, and i wonder that a public restaurant in Hungary is able to have two different treatments for hungarians and foreigners.I will report this to the competent authorities!SHAME !!!!!
