A good all rounder
Reviewed By Jacqui BJust stayed here for 2 nights. The apartment was spacious and clean with good quality facilities. We enjoyed the breakfasts very much with excellent service from Margaret. In fact all the staff were really helpful and cheerful. It's only a 15 minute walk to the centre of Manchester and we found it very convenient and good value for money.

Reviewed By claudiavincenzi2022The Room was nice but it was not too clean. I found a ball of fluff next to my bed and dust on the floor and windows. It wasToo hot and the bar closes too early. It should stay open for guests only after 11pm.

Great venue and concept
Reviewed By EarlstoneThe DCW is just a stones throw from Manchester Piccadilly station, so not exactly in the most salubrious part of Manchester but there are quite a few new hotels around the place so you always generally feel safe. On arrival there was a problem with the booking system which meant we had to wait 45 minutes to get access to our room, however the guy at the reception was very apologetic and then gave us a significant discount from our first night's stay Even though we didn't complain or ask. We had a room lowdown on the mezzanine level, which was huge including a very sizable bathroom. The only slight problem was that the room was adjacent to a storage area on the ground floor where staff started work pretty early in the morning, so there was a bit of noise which might wake you up. We ate in the restaurant on the second night, the menu is fantastic and the ambience of the warehouse is quite "young" but not too loud. Unfortunately we were woken at 1 am in the morning by the fire alarm sounding, there had been a major water leak in the building which forced us to evacuate our room. However, the reception staff were very quick to sort out accommodation at Dakota which is right next door to DCW and we were back in our beds within 50 minutes. We then received a call the following day confirming that we would receive a full refund for that evening, despite the fact that we were provided with alternative accommodation. Overall, a very pleasant stay, obviously the leak was a bit of a nightmare but the staff at the hotel couldn't be faulted. Would definitely return but perhaps have a suite higher up in the building.

Booking the accommodation was so easy—you can actually get through to someone on the phone which is a rarity these days.I contacted the hotel again a month later to reserve a car parking space—again this was all sorted promptly and efficiently. We checked in on line and I put my arrival time as 11am.I didn’t think our room would be ready for us but it was!Our room was spotlessly clean with everything you need for your stay.A well equipped kitchen,new sponge and cloth (some self catering places we have stayed in you are left with an old dishcloth!)Its all about attention to detail for us I asked for a quiet room—yes it’s a city centre hotel but our room was overlooking a courtyard and was so peaceful.The hotel was fully booked as it was the Rolling Stones concert but it was so quiet. Arriving back from the concert we were met by the night receptionist who took our names before allowing access to the hotel—-excellent security. The car park is great—you walk from the underground car park right in to reception so no dragging bags in the pouring rain The hotel is right in the city centre but driving in and out is so easy with no complicated city centre roads to navigate.The hotel is close to all attractions All staff we saw were so genuinely helpful We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.We have travelled extensively worldwide and with my job too and Staycity Liverpool Duke street is right up there as one of the best Highly recommended I posted this review on the Liverpool Waterfront Staycity by mistake.This review is now on the correct page for the Duke Street Staycity

Walking distance to all restaurants & all affairs. There ballroom competition every year that we attend to called blackpool ballroom competition.

Reviewed By helen gBooked for my sons 30th birthday. Not in Albert dock as I had thought but on reflection the yacht club is perfect. Staff were so lovely.it’s very secure as the dock can only be accessed via keycard. The boat is a really cool alternative to a hotel. Netflix, dvd’s and everything you could need. 15 min walk or so to Albert dock. I would definitely use it again.

The only Timpson pub in England! Applying their established principles of ‘upside-down management’ the Timpson family trust Partridge colleagues with the freedom to use their initiative to provide good food and drink with truly personal service. With this in mind, the priority is to pick people with personalities to run all parts of the pub. They are trained to put customers first. Unlike the big chains, there is no pub standard menu issued by head office, our chefs are encouraged to create their own special dishes and many become established favourites. The Partridge, within yards of junction 10 of the M56, has 10 rooms, with bed and breakfast providing a convenient oasis for people on the move.
Lovely food appalling service
Reviewed By andrewomahony23Went for a meal on Sat 4 June. Had previously had good experiences at the pub and it was a go to for a reasonable value for money meal. Unfortunately our experience this time was not good. The pub was not busy but the service was really bad. Didn’t get the chance to order a drink before we were being asked to order. Main course came shortly after we had finished starters. When we had finished mains we were left with empty plates for more than 15 minutes before anyone could be bothered to clear them. By then we weren’t interested in looking at dessert menus. We then had to wait a further 10 mins for the bill. Won’t be going back in a hurry which is a shame as the food is excellent

Tia and Carlton recently took over this hotel and are doing an amazing job. They are friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The buffet breakfast sets you up for the day. Great bar service. We will definitely be back to this hotel.
