Restaurant is located on the banks of the Rhine River, not far from the Benrath Palace, in case you wish to spend a day riding bicycle and combine it with delicious, romantic dinner. The restaurant is decorated resembling its fishery background (as the name suggests). We had goat cheese wrapped in puff pastry with orange coulis for starters, fishes for main (Dorade, Sole), and tankabean creme broule with rose bud sorbet and fresh fruits. All were fantastic! The fish was fresh, not frozen, something extraordinary for Dusseldorf. We were lucky with the weather as had it rained, we would not have found an empty table inside. Reservation recommended!

Betritt man das Fischhaus Aoufi & Sohn fällt der erste Blick auf die groÃe Auswahl in der Theke. Hier hat man die Möglichkeit frischen Fisch für die Zubereitung zu Hause zu kaufen. Der Fisch ist hier wirklich sehr frisch und von bester Qualität. Im hinteren Bereich des Fischhauses befindet sich das Bistro. Hier haben wir uns eine Fischplatte für drei Personen zuzüglich Beilagen bestellt. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Unsere Bestellung wurde frisch zubereitet. Der Fisch war cross angebraten, aber innen noch sehr saftig. Die Gambas waren sehr aromatisch. Alles war gut gewürzt und abgeschmeckt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Considering this is a fish restaurant we decided to stick to that. The place does have other dishes, so you are not bound to fish. The food was flavored to highlight the fish and was not overly seasoned. The staff spoke bare level English. The inside was clean but not charming.

We entered the restaurant, and we were greeted by smiling faces and shown to our table, all was perfectly clean, the menu had a good selection at reasonable cost.the wine list was extensive.the food came cooked and presented to a high standard. We would thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

Monthly changing menu, fish and seafood typically with a slightly unexpected touch. Always very fresh from their own next door seefood shop.Wines served by the glas and "mini deserts" allow for full indulgence without full calories.Unassuming, contemporary tasteful dining room with competent and extremely charming service.
