Came here with family for a dinner, good idea. Ate outside on their patio where the view is of local houses and trees, nice area with no loud traffic. We all ordered smaller versions of the dishes, except for my spouse, as the small ones were perfectly fine. Our uncle ordered the smaller Schnitzel which came with less potatoes than the regular size, but the two schnitzel pieces were just as large as the regular portion. The Cod on pumpkin quinoa was so colorfully organized, it was a work of art! And I got the small size, which was good as there was plenty to eat! We also all got side salads, which was a good idea b/c none of the dishes we ordered had veggies with them. Good meal, good server, and good company! The only caveat, their espresso is very watery.

A proper German "Wirtshaus", the Hennefer Wirtshaus is a fantastic place to meet friends, to have good and not too expensive food and a nice fresh beer. The service is quick and although the restaurant is always really full, works excellently well. The staff is really amazing. The food is very good and they have special daily offers.

We were lucky enough to be able to book the Italian restaurant Remise one morning for the same evening (it was a Friday). As I realized later, Italian food is much appreciated by the Germans, hence the burgeoning of Italian restaurants and cafés (with Italian staff and menus).As we arrived we immediately felt at home. The atmosphere and the staff were extremely welcoming and the décor was rustic and cosy but at the same time somewhat refined, and flowers and candle light added a touch of magic. After a toast with Prosecco, our party of four ordered various dishes, which all proved to be delicious: from the turbot with vegetables and a yummy mash, to Italian Chianina fillet steak cut like Chateaubriand, to a light crème brulée with interesting walnut ice-cream, to pannacotta⦠Everything we had was excellent and cooked to perfection, presentation was inventive and sophisticated. Prices were also good for what we ate. Well done! A great choice.

Seit 3 Monaten neu in Hennef und aus der Familie hervorgegangen, die den Marktgrill betreibt.Wir waren letzten Samstagabend mit unseren Freunden dort zum Essen. Die 3 Brüder, die wir seit Jahren durch den Marktgrill kennen, haben viel bewegt und das Lokal sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Es gibt internationale aber auch türkische und italienische Pasta Küche. Weiter Salate, gegrillten Fisch, Steakgerichte mit Bratkartoffeln uvm. Alles wurde geschmackvoll angerichtet serviert und schmeckte allen richtig gut. Frühstück, Mittagessen und auch am Abend finden sich leckere Ideen auf der Karte. Das Lokal ist ganztägig geöffnet und liegt in der FuÃgängerzone, höchstens 2 Minuten vom nächsten Parkplatz weg. Für Geburtstagsfeiern, bzw. gröÃere Gruppen auch prima geeignet....Fühlen uns dort sehr wohl, wie auch im benachbarte Marktgrill..... Immer wieder gerne
