I visited this restaurant while visiting family in Solingen. We ate here for supper on the 12th of December 2013.The atmosphere in the restaurant is very pleasant, and we were welcomed by the owner - a very friendly, slightly elderly Italian chap who directed us to a table. The decor is nice, and it was specially decorated for Christmas - lights on the ceiling etc.The selection of pizzas was a little disappointing in my opinion - they were all fairly similar and nothing really stood out to me - a shame as I really love pizza! However, my uncle recommended I try the meat - I had the lamb filets with fried potatoes, and the most delicious beans I have ever tasted - they were extraordinarily tasty and creamy. The steak with gorgonzola sauce can also be recommended. My father had the saltimbocca, however, he said was a little too salty. The prices for the pizza are fairly reasonable, being around 10-12â¬, bit the meat was all fairly expensive, starting around 20â¬, ranging to just under 30â¬! The prices had also all been raised, with the old ones being crossed out.To sum up, this is a nice little restaurant with good Italian food, but the prices can be a bit high depending on what you choose, so be careful!

We always come to town since our friends reside here and we always end up at this restaurant! There is plenty of seating outside and it the weather allows one can have a very nice dinner in the outdoors...Since the restaurant is located in a small side street and there is no car traffic is is actually pleasantly quite and one can enjoy a nice conversation without trying to beat the noise...The food has always been excellent and we had the steak now a couple of times and it was very good...one would not think that if you look at the name of the restaurant but it really is good...The appetizer and salads are always fresh and plentiful and do have a lot of flavor...The chef is actually very involved in the biz and always approachable for the patrons...He certain is part of the attraction besides the good food...The wine selection has always been decent and quality and the pricing, while slightly higher vs prior years, is still within market...I would recommend this restaurant for anyone who enjoys quality food at reasonable prices and like a bit of ambience as well...Give it a try!

Ein winziger Italiener in mitten einer Wohnsiedlung. Romantische Atmosphäre mit kleinem Innen- und Aussenbereich. Ganz ganz nettes Personal und Inhaber. Es war sehr lecker und dafür noch extrem preiswert. ÃuÃerst authentisch. Wir werden wieder kommen. Stammkundenpotenzial. Bleibt so.

The staff is service minded and speaks english. The menu is only in German but they will explain or if you are Italian you can understand the dish name :) Location is central, nice interior and vibe.Food was served fast, tasteful and good price.

We were there for business lunch.We ordered pasta not from the card,we just told what we would like to eat.We received great,fresh,homemade pasta with aromatic ingredients,real Italian style.I would never expect so quality,authentic Italian food in small German city.Wine and service were also superb.

Wir waren jetzt mehrfach dort und wurden immer sehr nett bedient.Das Essen und die Getränke sind reichhaltig und auch geschmacklich gut.Wir sind sehr zufrieden (nach vielen unbefriedigenden Besuchen in anderen italienischen Restaurants).Bellanova = Bella Ristorante :-)

Great cosy restaurant : the sauces for the pastas are home-made (you can really taste it !), the staff is really nice and gives good advises, portions are really big and there's a lot of choices in the menu (for both pizzas and pastas).My dish was perfectly cooked and simply delicious ! All my friends really enjoyed their dinner as well.In more, prices are really not expensive so : just go !

I can say... the dishes I saw looked great, the pizza looked tasty... but I stopped for one thing: the gelato. Rich chocolate, vibrant strawberry - this is the gelato dreams are made of.And it was surprisingly inexpensive... I could eat gelato here every day...
