It's a very nice, romantic place to spend a relaxing time.Outside is a nice terrace for sunny weather and inside is a rustic cellar with nice atmosphere. The meals are perfect. It is not too much,so you can have different tapas.I mostly like the fresh bread with 2dips and the cheeseplate. And if you are an oenophile you are also here at the right place.Whether the red or the white wines both are excellent.

i had lunch here several times during the past years. the quality of the dishes has never disappointed, the food is always tasty and mainly from fresh ingredients. even for vegetarians in a restaurant specialised in meat dishes mostly there are very nice dishes.the service is ever so friendly.it is wonderful to sit in the quiet back yard garden in the summer months.

Have been to the restaurant several times and mostly for business meal. The decoration, space and atmosphere were good, however, we were asked if we need English or German menu, though they did not really have English one, which showed the staff not well trained. The service was standard but with limited passion, while the waitress asked standardized if everything was ok, though only one bottle on our table. However, the food was really tasty and in reasonable price/value ratio. The parking lots might not be enough when well booked and it is only open for the night.

Eating in this restaurant is magnificent, the surroundings of Zurheide's Edeka belong to the next stage, simply the best. Never seen such a food ... well how shall I put it...show, factory, supermarket: it's beyond words! Setzkasten is situated downstairs next to the Mozzarella-bar, friendly staff, nice menu, fine cooking. Just try it and amaze yourself in this food-heaven in Dusseldorf in Germany.

Came here for a family event, and it was just perfect. The food was amazing, despite the fact that they had to cater for so many. The steaks were cooked just right. Good size portions too, and there's always a doggy bag ;-)Would recommend if you're looking for somewhere local with decent food and good service.

Have been coming here since 1985 after it had just opened. Food is great good service and fine dining at its best near the Unterbacher See Good choice of wines make it a great place for business lunches and for private functions

I am visiting this place for about 4 years mostly for business lunches. The place is 3 mindrive from the busy Düsseldorf - Cologne motorway. The best point is the setting and the quick service. The quality of beef used to be better years ago. I always order my steaks "medium" I always get it "well done". The vegetables e.g. aspargus last time is prepared not al dente it is mostly coocked to death.. Prices are on the high end of the scale. I tried several alternative restaurants nearby (e.g. Gut Knittkuhle) but it turned out this is the best place.

We celebrated a round birthday in Olive's. The menue served was good and well executed. All were happy w selection and white wine scored highg on my agenda. This is a good, solid place w does not disapoint and represents a flagpole in the typical mass food operations in Germany - keep it up.
