went here a few times and sadly it was never the same quality of food but always indifferent service.If you leave most of your meal on the plate because its tasteless and greasy, you might expect the staff to ask what's wrong with it, but no, it just gets cleared and no questions or offer of something else or reduced bill. Won't go back.

This is a new old local restaurant: good old German hospitality in a modern ambiance. Friendly service. Good food for little dollar!Recommended. Only minor minus: waitress did not come back on question about wificode.

We visited this restaurant with our German friends. It was a wonderful experience. The food was amazing and Simon the owner seriously knows his wines. He introduced us to many varieties to compliment the food and my husband had the best steak he had ever tasted. There is no rush and the the experience is very personal. Totally love this place and can't wait to return.

When one enters the restaurant, one is confronted with a rather cool and functional atmosphere. Here you won't find the German "Gemütlichkeit" that you would have expected. We were given a friendly welcome and immediately accompanied to our reserved table. The very nicely designed menu was quickly provided. The choice of dishes is not extensive, but all dishes are freshly prepared and mostly come from local producers. The price level is in the middle range. The food did not convince me completely. Above all, the portions were a bit small and reminded one of what is offered in other restaurants as a senior plate. One positive aspect to mention is that there are enough free parking spaces. Die urgemütliche Scheune mit moder-nerem Charakter hat was und wird zur Zeit diskutiert. Wir arbeiten dran. In der Marktschänke sitzt man drinnen wie drauÃen sehr schön. Die Bedienung ist sehr nett und aufmerksam, auch wenn das Lokal gut besucht ist. Man sollte auf jeden Fall reservieren. Die Karte bietet eine gute Auswahl für jeden Geschmack. Der Wein war auch sehr lecker. Gerne wieder!

Wonderful old building next to the river and near a trout farm. Lovely atmosphere, dining upstairs or downstairs by candle light with the fascinating wooden machinery of the old mill on display. Delicious food prepared wiith care by an outstanding chef. Great wine served at the perfect temperature. Friendly, attentive staff who speak good English. Not cheap, but excellent value for money. I have dined there on several occasions and can't fault it. Highly recommended.

We visit the Beeker Brauhaus every couple of months and always have a good time. Food is traditional German. Last time I had a rumpsteak that cut like butter, accompanied by garlicky spinach and fries. My partner tends to go for a fish option e.g. salmon with lemon sauce and parsley potatoes. There is a good choice of beer (including Belgian Grimbergen Blonde and Dubbel). Some staff speak excellent English; all staff are friendly and welcoming. Mains cost around 10-19 Euros. There is a beer garden and a bowling alley too......

While staying at the attached Hotel on Business i booked into the Restaurant for Dinner and was very Pleasantly surprised. the meal was delicious, The Service attentive but not intrusive and a nice relaxing environment. was so happy we changed our plans and returned later in the week. Excellent.
