We tried a package consist of fish, chicken nibbles, crab stick and chips, plus add-on oyster, it was good. The best is the oyster and fish, the fish was big and thick, all good, however the chicken nibbles was just average. All come at affordable price for reasonable portion for two person.

Itâs just a straight old fashioned diner but the food is really tasty. The roasts are tender and well cooked with a generous serving of gravy. Sizes are generous, pork rind is crisp! The roast potatoes are yummy, yummy, yummy - crisp coating, creamy centre (like the perfect Easter egg but with less calories!) I ask for roast spud no mash no Kumera so that I can get three! Bring a jacket - itâs not warm in here and though you can get takeaways - donât! Because then your crispy potatoes wonât!

Pita Pit takes the Subway build-your-own style of ordering and puts it on a Pita. We all had salads which were okay (iceberg lettuce with a dash of spinach). The lamb was tender and the vegetables fresh.It does seem expensive for what it is ($54 NZ for 3 salads and a kids meal - no drinks) and that drags down the rating in my book.Many thanks for your review. The Airstream Cafe was a surprise in such a quiet spot, but a great place to stop and have coffee lakeside, excellent coffee and Jeff the friendly owner serves excellent coffee. The winter menu looks great too, so we will go back for an early dinner as he closes at 4.30pm during winter, later in summer. Good on him for having a cool cafe that we did not expect to find here. Chairs and tables outside to relax and enjoy.

This place-owned by a young couple is too open, too uncomfortable and too noisy, The food is very mediocre and too highly priced . We have been in this business for 3 weeks now and like every other new businesses we have our own teething issue.However, we are surprised to know that a $8.90 gourmet burger is too highly priced and $ 4.50 organic coffee is expensive in a restaurant environment.We wish this young couple would have met you at our cafe. When you are new and especially when you are passionate about the work you do, you do tend to recognize every single table you serve and every single guest you meet.We will be glad and will be very interested to know when did you dine with us?We are concerned that you felt uncomfortable as per your review.None of other reviews reflects that our food is our mediocre and too highly priced. Small restaurant, but OMG the food was delicious! I had the 50/50 cheeseburger with a gf bun and the pork belly bites. The meat was incredible. Itâs the perfect place for people with celiacs disease - only 2 items have any gluten, and they are not cooked with anything else!
